Wild Boar and Pine Martens in the Forest of Dean - Nature Diaries
Просмотров 573Год назад
Hi Conservation Crew! Last week we enjoyed four days in the amazing Forest of Dean. We went for a jolly but the reason we chose this area is because it is well known for a population of 'feral' wild boar and more recently, pine martens. We had an amazing time there and saw some amazing species including: - Silver-washed fritillary butterfly - Lime hawkmoth caterpillar - Holly blue butterfly - G...

Horses enjoy human interaction scratches cuddles I get you point respecting wildlife but that’s wrong most wildlife it’s correct but certain things have a long standing relationship with humans that’s mutually felt their are boundaries totally in 99 pct but if a animal doesn’t want interaction it will tell you 🥴🤔😊

IMHO I think mink should be culled UK wide. They are an invasive species, nasty animals that unbalance the environment here. I have just found your channel. Love wildlife, nature. From a new subscriber.

Cinematography idea - MUCH less of your head in the frame. You don't have to show yourself in the frame when you are talking. The interest is in the scenery you are describing so well, with all the detail, but for half of this film most of the frame is taken up with the view of your head.

Anyone who thinks this is good is utterly mad. We have these in Sweden and they are a major problem, here we have some predators but still far too many. They breed like crazy, are very difficult to Hunt unlike deer and moose, plus they are incredibly dangerous hunting dogs need special collars to stop the boar killing them. Add o this they eat ground dwelling nesting birds, eggs etc. If you have these near you they will overnight turn a football field into a ploughed field. I have seen these dead on a motorway one was at least 6 foot long and probably weighed 200 kg, they are enormous. Fencing off your garden is not good, you need an electric fence. This video is utterly stupid.

Ahhh, lovely piglets, you didn't show any adult males with razor sharp tusks that can kill and maim. They were hunted to extinction for a reason, they are very dangerous and incredibly destructive to crops, can spread diseases, F&M, etc. It's laughable that they benefit wild birds, that is really clutching at straws!

The most accurate, easiest, and non invasive method that you can use right now is the technique I use to determine the age of a tree. It is also the simplest method, ask the tree how old it is. They are very happy to provide this information and it works for me every time,
