I put some of my best runs together for showcasing the fastest possible way the game can be beaten. As of making this video my best segmented run is 56.27s (0.5 seconds faster), however most of the level runs were not recorded so I am unable to showcase these runs of until I recreate them. How the hell do you do the long way around skip lmao
It has something to do with how well your computer runs the game. People that I know that can only play this game on 60 fps can't do the trick and anyone over 140 ish (I don't know exact numbers on this) is able to make the sand hop. You do the trick by jumping at a specific time before the game thinks you died from touching the pit. It is a pretty big frame window to hit, so whenever I go for this trick I just spam my spacebar.

Thanks so much, there is a current TAS run for this game made a year ago but it sadly doesn't take optimal lines. Combine the driving of TAS and the route on this video and it should be possible to see a mid 55 second time! (About 3 seconds faster then the WR)

did you make use of the triple bypass technique in this run? and did you calculate your trajectory vectors beforehand? i think you used the subset of formulas to get those kinds of moves!
