What a machine. A large, 22kg heavy, 1:4 F-104 Starfighter. Flown flawlessly in a perfect scale manner. But why do I call it Widowmaker? Because the German Luftwaffe ordered it with changes that were absolutely unsuitable for this airplane. This is a 1:4 (2 m wing span and 5kg of weight) scale model of the historic Blériot XI airplane. The original took its first flight on 23 January 1909 and was the first airplane to cross the English Channel on 25 July 1909. The plane was extremely quiet. So not that much Audio from that side. In the past, I added music to my videos, but several viewers complained about it. So, I have left the original audio since then.

Sorry for the delay. As this is not mine, I am not able to give you this information. Sorry. As far as I know, this is a self-build model and not a kit. But I'm not sure about this.

Jet powered ,is not Glider
I mean that from the perspective of the type or plane, it's a glider but with a turbine strapped on it. I'm sure that if you turn off the turbine, it will be capable of gliding like a regular glider. As long as the turbine is placed at the center of gravity.

Hey @janrc Its a Skysun Piper j3 it has 4 Meters wingspan und it is about 16 kg. Engine is a DLE 111. Servos are KST BLS 825. BTW, i am the owner and Pilot on this Flight.

I do believe us Rc guys want to hear a decent motor and see some good flying, but all drowned out by chatter and music ruins the vid

It's not a high budget movie ... it's a model airplane for gods sake. Stop trying to make big production out of it and get rid of the stupid music . It has no place here.
Too bad at events like Rhinebeck, rarely see planes like this from the 30's or 40's.

What happens mechanically to rotate the helicopter without a tail rotor?
As the model has two counterrotating rotors, they cancel out the torque of each other. So, no tail rotor is needed for doing this. The tail rotor is used only to work against the main rotor's torque.
