As much as this REALLY sucked... it set Mowgli's destiny in motion. If Bhoot hadn't died, he would never have realized he wanted nothing to do with man. Neither man, nor wolf. This was the moment he saw that.

This scene is so traumatizing. I watch the jungle book instead of mowgli 😂

I just wanted to point out..that that dude said my first albino. Which is rare in many mammals same with melaism in my eyes those ones shouldn’t be taxidermy. Well yes there pretty killing them just because they are different is heartbreaking..and the fact the bhoot was a pup and not even fully grown.

This death was so unnecesary, i had a knot in my throat from the part where he and mowgli have that little spat. It brought me so much sadness.

The of the things that make this scene more upsetting is that Bhoot is cub and happened to be Mowgli's best friend

I feel entirely bad for Mowgli to see that Bhoot has passed away by his head getting mounted on a stick and It makes me wanna cry when he cries

Bhoot was nothing but a supportive, nice friend to Mowgli, Mowgli never appreciated anything that Bhoot did and when he said bhoot wasn't special I cried, I also cried at this scene because imagine being yelled at and insulted by your only friend, everyone insulted Bhoot and nobody appreciated him except his mother, I feel bad for his mother, I felt the heartache 😢 Why did they have to kill Bhoot!?? 😢

Let this be a lesson to never reject your closest friends and family members. You never know what last words they’ll hear from you. Such a sad scene.

Just to think if Mowgli went on that night hunt with bhoot he most likely wouldn't have got killed.. Poor little guy. This scene made me burst into tears

This is so sad because the very last interaction they had was Mowgli rejecting Bhoot and calling him a freak that came out wrong. Then Bhoot wandered around the jungle absolutely broken and those were the last feelings he had was being alone, rejected, hated, worthless, and "wrong".

This scene was completely unnecessary. For me, it was just a scene made to reveal a contrived plot twist.

I can’t ever rewatch this movie because of Boot. It crushed my heart to see his face when Mowgli yells at him, and then to see him end up like this… Yet for some reason, every couple months I watch this clip to reopen the wound 💔

This scene gave me chills when I see first time this movie.

I don't know why but after seeing this scene my hate for mowgli grew so much.

I may not be a trophy hunter but even if I was, something that rare is too good to mount on a wall or taxidermy. I mean not often you see a white wolf with blue eyes especially in a jungle. I wouldve caged him and maybe take him back to the UK and maybe sell them to Queen Victoria's personal menagerie. I know its not much better but its better than shooting a cub.

They destroyed the movie with that fucked up script. "Oh, we need to shock the audience" - a pile of evil people who doesn't care about the context of their stuffs and who will watch this the most (kids). So, when they showed this, I just stopped the movie. That's all. An unnecessary trauma over there.

This is when I closed this movie. The Disney is so much better.

Dang bro i remember seiing this scene with my 6 YO old brother and i was like 11 and when I saw that I just turned off the movie and telling my brother to forget it
