Standard is more suitable. If you use raw, then increase the trigger of trailing stop by at least 0.5 pips (5 points) to compensate

There are trend filters included in the EA. I don't like Grid strategies, they are a sure way to blow accounts

Facts!!

You can test 3 pairs at a time and then collate results. I don't care much for backtests.. IRL on my VPS, this EA is running on two terminals and never caused any problems (being 1 hour chart, it runs the codes only once every hour).

codes you copied for checking the open positions have some issue. EA is not able to pick that there is already an open order or position. Check that part (and also the condition that we send orders only if selltotal/buytotal is less than 1

there is something wrong with the part where you copied sell part. if it is in both, maybe you are putting entry-sl instead of sl-entry in the calculation of lotsize function. Copy pasting always leads to issues.

You are right. initially I just posted the videos, but then was bombarded with "where is the code file", "send the code file" so decided to put it up for a small donation. Sincerely suggest to code it yourself. Not knowing what you are using is as good as throwing knives in the dark... who knows what they are going to hit.

Does it not attach? does it not open trades? This is a swing EA. it will open maybe 3 or 4 trades in a month. You cannot expect it to open trades immediately upon attaching. Is not a day trading EA. I detailed all that in the video. Maybe watch the video carefully. You can use if in scalping mode as well (again details in the video). I have never tried it thoough so cannot say from experience anything.

Did it work in the backtest? meaning it opened trades and everything was normal? Don't want you to wait a month to realize there was some setting which was off... if it worked in backtest, then we know the settings are ok. On the other one, please be careful. It looks you are going a bit risky.. NO EA always makes money, there will be bad days as well.

@@No_Shenanigans The other two, as I said, make me between $15 and $30 USD a day in real accounts, and I'm happy. The Bollinger Bands one doesn't even open for me in the strategy tester, there seems to be something wrong with this one.

It is working for me and many others, so something is wrong in the way it is set up. if you can share your VPS log in, i can take a look (the comment will be held so will not appear to everyone)

I do not know any prop firms that will allow such tight spreads that this EA needs. Also I do not believe in propfirms. Their entire business model is based on you fail, they keep your money.

Is why I spend a section in the video that it is ONLY for experienced traders who can manage a reversal strategy. It is not for everyone. What can be done? Well, there is always option to manually close a position if it is not looking good. I do monitor my trades say once a day or something. Algo trading does not mean you can retire on a yatch while VPS will print money. Algotrading means you can automate a majority part of your own trading by coding it.

Point I am making in the video is that backtests are just indications. Forward testing is the ONLY real testing. I don't give a lot of importance to backtests and not trying to find perfect backtesting setup. Don't need it. if something looks interesting enough, I'd rather forward test it, then try and perfect a backtest.

I followed the BB RSI video and i had 25 errors. I finally got it down to 5, but i'm still going through the video looking for mistakes

I want people to follow the code and UNDERSTAND rather than just copying and hence decided not to do a scroll down. Errors are good if you want to learn. Just copying will not give you anything. Learning comes from getting stuck and solving problems. This way you will even learn to code your own strategies.

Brilliant... am sure you will solve the other 5 as well.. and the learning would be much more than if there were no errors to fight with

A lot of people talking about HFT bots.. do you guys really have a broker with zero spreads? otherwise for 1000 trades per minute you will be paying 1000 pips just in spreads to your broker.. HFT makes sense for large companies which have almost zero transaction costs

Brilliant.. very happy some people actually follow the videos and code and learn instead of just downloading. Knowing the tool is what makes the difference between a blacksmith that makes a sword and a regular dude that just ends up with a swollen foot
