That Drum Solo is the best, I am 69 years old and have listened to the best drummers from the late, 1930s to this day, Jazz is my style, and you, my gifted friend can stand with any musician in the world,

What do l know about drumming…was this good..was it bad..was it indifferent..for me it was a man in love with what he was doing…so for me….the performance was astonishing because of what Lee could do with sticks ..drums and symbols..my body is vibrating.. so something amazing just happened ..🇨🇦

You're the Alan Dawson of your time. I saw him in a clinic in 1970~ I bought that kit hoping to sound anything like him. But of course I had no idea the master that he was. He wad just a ghost of texture ... You carry on this amazing tradition to a degree he would have loved...I loved Alan for his great humility and unsung place in Drumming history...Carry on this legacy Lee...Alan lives in you!
