She wasn't bipolar, it was proven by tests (as she wrote in her book). and doctors are still doing the mistake of calling people bipolar as they are in fact asperger, especially if they are women, they can hide it easely, They are aspergirl. The fact is, it still be misdiagnosed by specialis. On purpose, to sell hudge drugs for it. Because asperger is not mental illness and so no need of drugs (but help and support), it's not interresting for" doctors" and drug company. She was in depression.. because of asperger or precocity. As an "asperger" myself, I'm sure she was too, especially after readind her book just before her death (and I watched the documentary "Nothing compares" and saw a lot about her, as I just feel how she was strugglling ). So there is nothing to do about it. Her son Shane was gifted too, precocity and asperger can be almost the same thing and makes you fell very sad, lonely (nobody is understanding that!) and suicidal because of the extreme mental pain. So I'm not surprised, it was just a matter of time, she was so so nice, talented, clever, furious about injustice and sensitive... We need more people like her, but those people needs help and love. "The operation, and the surgical menopause that followed, left her feeling suicidal and she posted a number of videos on social media asking for help." So, all those trouble and pain, drove her "crazy" and suffering was probably constanlty in her. How to survive to this??? It's just a matter of time before killing yourself. (Sorry for my english, I'm french and I don't use a translator...) While she was alive, I wrote: Well it's not mental illness!!! looks like she could be an aspie (autism), Asperger, :) She's acting like an aspergirl... Totally!! I'm asperger so I can tell that she match to be that... She's highly sensitive, artistic, doesn't lie, she's genuine, shy, angry about injustice, often mad and sad and thinking about suicide... If it's so easy to diagnose "asperger", how people lived 50 years without being diagostized ??? Do some real research as I did (lot of years about it). You would be suprised. And it's was proven that Sinead wasn't not bipolar. But it still very new to talk about "asperger". Because things didn't change at all since a while and old doctors are not aware at all!!! In France, I just learn that 60% of the patients in asylum are autistic!!! But not like Aspie, more "severe" form of autism. Instead of being helped, because it's a business and it's cost 1500€ ($1500) per day for each patient!!!!! A french autistic actor and writer said that (Hugo Horiot). One day a comment from a psychiatrist just showed me how stupid they are: He was saying that it was impossible for an autistic to speak and do a conference and have a doctorate (the video was about a woman with all of that). This man was so stupid, and said that autism was a psychosis!! It's not considered anymore as a psychosis since 1975 (only!). So this "doctor" was so wrong and he stills be a psychiatrist, scary! I'm also very aware of River Phoenix life since he died, and I'm sure he was too. As Marilyn Monroe, Beatrix Potter too. Not very sure about Diana (Lady Di), but it could be from what I know about her. As an aspie, when I'm doing research, It's deep.. I'm watching all videos, movies, documentaries, I'm reading books, I just want to know "all" about. About that "american anthem thing), she said in her book that it was a journalist that came in her loge before and ask her if she was ok to sing the american national anthem . She answer "I'd better not too if possible" or something like it. It wasn't a "no". But this fucking journalist lie about it and made a big deal of it! Well, no nead to make a big deal about that. Americans are really too nationalists, putting the american flag everywhere... in France if we are acting like that, it would mean that we are racist, not very good acting. Singing this anthem at school too is crazy! don't forget that american was stolen from natives by genocide, not good to be proud of it! Especially when it's not taught at school! Nor the Tulsa massacre or slavery history! That fucking Dr Phil was really taking advantage of her, trying to make her doing a record and sign for them to get the rights!!! She didn't sign, fortunatly!!! He was a crook and a bad person! He called her at first. And lies by saying she called him first. She was vulnerable and he was as bad as Dr Ralph Greenson to Marilyn Monroe (she died because of him)!!!
