I really wish they sold this in DVD format. I can’t find anything online for a copy. I just love this production so much that I’m so worried about it getting taken off RUclips

I am proud to have been born there, grew up there, and went to college there. Sooner born and Sooner dead and when I die I'll be Sooner dead. Rah Oklahoma, OKU!
Oklahoma has always been my favorite musical. My father used to direct plays, and this is one I'll never forget! The entire cast was brilliant! The dancing was out of this world! Usually, the dream sequence is my least favorite part of the play, not with this version; it was breathtaking! The actor playing Curly was so amazing, made me feel like I was listening to Gordon McCrea! The actress Laurie has a beautiful voice, a bit operatic for the part but it was still magical. It was especially WONDERFUL to hear the actress who played Ado Annie who could actually sing! I've always wondered what that would sound like and now I know! Wonderful performance from everyone!
R and H are the American guys who put the Operetta Age into the history bin. This was the first of their string of amazing hits that changed the London and Broadway scene. Although my favorite by far is Carousel, you can see its DNA in Oklahoma. Some of the most beautiful music ever scored in the English language, IMO.
Great Curly is not curly headed, handsome nor can he sing actually the whole cast can't sing and all participates in overacting if this it is a Hammerstein production - musicals have gone to the dogs! I guess nothing's ever as good as the original and boy can Shirley Jones sing I reckon the whole entire musical was built around her beautiful voice and nobody was more Charming or better Curly than Gordon MacRae. Actually Gordon MacRae could be the only reason why any woman would ever wanna be a farmer's wife. Thinking about the original Oklahoma the whole cast was perfect I guess no matching perfect but does it really have to be this bad?
yikes, you must be fun at parties. would love to see what you think talent is compared to this cause they did a damn good job. you're right nothings going to be be like the original but you don't have to criticize the new actors to shreds. don't know what you thought sharing a negative comment would do because ur debby downer attitude is unneeded in a community of supportive people 🤦🏻♀️ keep it to yourself
Very nice production, although the audio/video is not quite synched. There is also a wonderful DVD of the Broadway production with Hugh Jackman. John Wilson just released a CD Audio recording of Oklahoma with Nathaniel Hackmann and Sierra Boggess, an acclaimed Broadway actress/singer.

I am overwhelmed about how outstanding the performance is
Nathaniel Bachmann is the best Curly that I have ever seen
Ali Hakim the peddler represented the Jewish peddlers roaming the farming communities of the time period
What a delight! They are a happy orchestra, a talented cast and wonderful music.
The best production of Oklahoma ever!
Laurie and Curley are modern versions of Beatrice and Benedick.
I"m hearing lyrics I never heard in other productions -- !!!!!

נהנת מהמוסיקה המקסימה והזמרים נהדרים
SO'S YOU CAN TELL EM APART is such a great addition. Not sure about the other additions as much, but that one made me laugh.
The first movie I watched in a theater was ‘Oklahoma’. Living in Oklhoma, I loved it at the age of eight. Thank you.

Those cowboys had GUNS! A violation of sheep behavior in Britain! Good thing they didn’t have knives!

As an Okie from Muskogee, I approve of this performance.
