    I have been having alignment and aiming issue for years and recently I found that while standing and while my right leg is on line of aim (even if I line up with belly button/middle of body\) , so while standing I lean my head or upper body towards my right leg, I feel like I was told to bring the head on top of my right foot and hold it there and then walk in, so while doing the mini walk , putting right leg, and left leg I make sure that head stays there. However when I am down I feel like I am leaning towards my right side, and ofcourse no matter what I try I have alignment and aiming issue. ----------------------------- I also can see that while standing even before doing the mini walk my shoulders are not level and I am leaning towards right while sighting the shot, and ofcourse when I do the mini walk and get down my head stays there, but feels that I am leaning to right. However I tried to hold the my shoulder straight, but it all ends up the same. I tried pointing my nose to object ball while standing, don’t know why but I am leaning or bringing my head on top of my right feet (line of aim or behind cueball) while standing. And I am down I am not balanced and this is causing alignment and aiming problem. I changed stance to square or boxing, still same bad habbit. Please help me if you can

    Balance point for 57" cue?

  • @FiTFRecords

    Just got a new custom-made cue in my options as far as weight bolts are endless. I tend to like the weight of my cues further in the back because it makes me feel like my stroke is straighter and easier to keep in line then front weighted cues. However I've been going back and forth here lately playing around to see which one feels better with my draw shots and spin shots but I haven't really been able to notice too much of a difference. I think I'm just going to keep it towards the back since that's most comfortable

    Hi i have a 56 inch cue which i hold 3 inch from butt. I am 5 feet 4 inch tall. Do i need a smaller cue.

    All depends on your height/arm span,just look at John Higgins probably has about 4/5" showing on the butt and most of everything thats won by the likes of Osullivan Trump Robertson Higgins Wilson all have about 10"/25cm bridge definightly not 12 the texbook has gone, the games changed 👍

    Most people need a STIFF cue, a SOLID shaft.Thats what I have learned.

    • @cuecreatorcues7486
      @cuecreatorcues7486 3 года назад

      Yes most people believe in one thing only. Lot more involved than just a stiff shaft. Depends on your own action, tip and balance that you prefer. A cue to stiff is also unplayable.

    what is the "balance point" and what is the "weight" desired / recommended to cue with these specs? 58 "3/4 tip 9.5 butt diameter 29-30 tanx

    • @cuecreatorcues7486
      @cuecreatorcues7486 3 года назад

      Balance point is when you balance the cue on your finger and measure from the butt end to that point. The better cues in a 58 inch length would be in my opinion 17 - 18 inches. 17 inch is fairly neutral with not a lot of weight felt in the bridge hand. Weight depends on where you play and the cloth conditions as well and personal preference.

      A BALANCE POINT at the front of your wrap (holding area), is harder to use if you are a beginner. You will not be able to enjoy the game or even understand it the cue will not drop in line with you with this type of cue if you are a beginner. Pros use this type of cue for power on their shots. I suggest you use a cue which has a BALANCE POINT on the same position as your holding area. The cue drops as you drop you will enjoy your game better if you are a beginner.

    If the balance point is at 16.5” from the butt end versus 18”, would that not imply that there is more weight forward of the balance point, therefore more weight in the shaft to prevent the cue from rising up on playing a shot?

    • @cuecreatorcues7486
      @cuecreatorcues7486 4 года назад

      Measurement is from butt end to the balance point. Production cues are more 16 inches or less and that means there’s no weight in the bridge hand. A well weighted cue in a length of 57-58 inches is 17-17.5 inches.

      @@cuecreatorcues7486 hi sir, for a 57inches cue the best balance point is it 17.32inches? i prefer more weight on the front end of the shaft....or 17.5 inches would be a better choice?

    • @cuecreatorcues7486
      @cuecreatorcues7486 3 года назад

      correct you want more weight in the bridge to stop the cue from popping up on the shot. Many low end productions cues just have weight added into the butt and making the shaft jump out of your bridge with any power

    what exatcly makes your Custom American Pool cues custom when you cant choose nowrap option, you cant choose cue lenght, you cant choose butt diameter and you cant select blank cue without the horrid transfer art, they are simple maple cues from production line that you ''customize'' with a sticker and choice of wrap(but no option for wrapless)... for 600-700$ :O..... your custom snooker cues have all the options that are expected from custom cues like butt diameter lenght etc

    Hi I have a 58 inch cue which I used to hold at the end, I'm currently changing my setup, so I'm shortening the bridge to 10 inch, and putting a slightly bigger bend on my bridge arm. This means that I'm holding the cue 4 inch from the butt. The cue now feels butt heavy. Can you recommend a balance point for my set up?

    • @cuecreatorcues7486
      @cuecreatorcues7486 5 лет назад

      hi for a 58 inch cue the balance point should be between 16.5 to 18 inches. 16.5 would be more butt heavy and most would be set up around 17 inches as it gives more weight on the bridge hand. So the further forward the measurement is example 18 inches you would feel more weight on the bridge. For more towards the butt weight 16.5. 16.5 would be as far as you should go back as then its like a production cue which will be easier to screw back but will pop of your hand with power topspin. Mike

      if you have 4 inches at end of the butt you should get the cue ferrule re done and re tapered or replace the cue. Balance point at 56 inches 16.5 inches or around that

      Thanks Stu, plenty of cues on the way over the next 3-4 weeks around 70!. That will give the photographer plenty of images and show the clients the quality of the cue spilicing and ash/ maple quality. Also looking forward to learning from the photographer. My own cue that i ordered might even turn up in a few weeks and another for you to try as well as 4 other pro players cues. Looking forward to this season!
