If you look up your card on youtube there might be comparison videos. I have recently bought a new system which will arrive in the new year. It should be great. Regards

Hi John, Sorry for late reply I would suggest you wouldn't see much improvement. I hope to be upgrading soon. I hope to get a i7 12700 with a new GPU. My 980gtx recently died so I haven't been playing msfs lately.

Hi Andreas. I find frame-rates ok mostly, but I tend to keep away from large cities. I am flying from KEAT to CYLW as I write this reply, and I am getting 33 FPS. I have my graphics set to High, apart from trees and Clouds which are set to Ultra. V-sync is off. Shadow Maps set to 768. Terrain Shadows 512. Texture SuperSampling 4x4. Anisotropic Filtering 4X The above video was in Australia not near any major cities, so Frame-rates were good.

dont get a 4790K in 2020. only if you have already a 4790K like i have stick with it. but its not a good option to buy it anymore. just wait for next Gen AMD or Intel and build a new pc. better value of your money. for 700 euros/dollars you can build a beast of a pc. better then a 4790K system.

I will let you know in 3 weeks.. I have the 4460.and will be getting the 4790k. Only need to up the gpu, i have the 1060 6gb right now.

@@guranad0 every new pc uses ddr4 so you dont have much of a choice in that aspect. But yeah just save up. Even apus from amd are better then the 4790k. But the upcoming ryzen cpus would be great for you. Get a 3060 or 3070 card or an big navi 2 card from amd and you have a good of for many years to come. 700 till 1000 euros will have you have a good pc for at least 5 till 6 years easily.

Check your voltage. My 4790K runs @4.7 Ghz with 1.32 volts. I'm using a corsair H110 and it stays under 80c.

Yes it is, but I get reasonable performance out of my CPU. Looking forward to an upgrade.

@@tufnel1970 if u wanna upgrade for AMD,I think ryzen 5 3600/XT can be an option for several years ahead,32 gigs of RAM and X570 mobo can improve the overall performance for this simulator 🥺🤔😌

Yes I have only had a few hours with the sim, and most of that has been setup and trying to fix my joystick. It is an old x52pro, and it is past it's used by date. I will post more video's soon. Thanks for the comment.

@@tufnel1970 you play through Steam? Cause peripheral management is hell 🤣 got some issue with my hotas ans my arcade stick, forced to go big picture to desable Steam management and let Windows do the job...

Trainzsp4449 the site aint up anymore, besides, someone else sent me the engines.

+ktrainbfs I think you should delete them because you aren't allowed to get payware items for free even if they're not available anymore.

They are built-in tracks that come with TS2009 - to TS2010. what version of Trainz are you running?
