On day 4 of 14 day liquid diet. Headache on 100 but im gonna stick beside it.
im on the liquid diet right now for 2 weeks, I've stuck to the diet, but I messed up on 2 of the days and i'm stressing over it. Just found out one of the soups ive been using has too high fat content. Just adjusting now, but instead of 14 days of diet, I have basically 12. Frustrating.

Guys just eat fruit and rice and potatoes and then more fruit and then more rice and potatoes and then try to just est gruit for as long as possible then rice and potatoes and the fruit a long time more as much as possible more than rice and potatoes and dont get the surgery!

My doctor told me I lost so much weight prior to surgery I didn’t need to do a liquid diet until the day before at noon. However I’m two weeks and two days away from my surgery. So I have slowly been cutting my self down on what I’m eating. I’m down to two Protein Shakes a day and one meal for protein and vegetables. I am working towards the complete liquid diet because I feel as this wonderful Dr stated if you can’t commit to the two week liquid diet your not ready for this part of the Journey. I also believe everyone should have to do the two week liquid diet to prepare them mentally and emotionally as well as physically for the change to come. My gastric bypass is scheduled for June 5th

Having Gastric bypass in 22 days . I was born in Ocala but now live in NY since 2020. If I was still in Inverness FL I would definitely have this surgeon doing my RNY. Thank you for doing these videos Doc. Great help for me

Not craving cocaine 😂😂😂 Listen, I started my pre-op liquid diet on Monday Oct 23 it was brutal, day 2 was even worse. But I got up this morning and I feel great! What Dr. Caban said in Lesson #4 really helped me, I’m convinced it helped change my mind. Yesterday I thought to myself I can’t possibly do this for 2 weeks, but today I know I can. My surgery is on November 6th. Thanks for this video; it helped me tremendously.

What if you are 65 and on ozempic? Is Bariatric surgery an option or not? My glucose readings are 5.0- 6.0 regularly
the recommendation is to stop ozempic 2 wks before surgery

Thank you Doc for explaining everything . I did all my stuffand now im ready for my Operation. Im working in a hospital and thsnks God my incurence company covers my procedure. Im still scared but it's necessary to get healthy again. I got 150 pounds over since i got diagnosed with Thyroid and parathyroid problems and after they removed everything but of 1 parathyroid I gained. I PRAY TO GOD THST THE SURGERY WILL HELP. This hormon problem with the throid and my level goes up and down is horrible. 😢

Question: If everyone can lose weight prior to surgery, why not continue with out going under the knife? What am I missing?

What are you missing? Not everyone is the same. The reason for weight loss surgery is to help lose more weight within a year. Take me for example, I eat a 600 calorie diet. I have lost only 37 pounds in six months. Having my surgery can help me lose a bit more quicker. People that are 200 plus and even higher weight gain have normally high blood pressure, diabetes, severe back problems, sleep apnea etc.. the faster we can lose the weight the sooner we can eliminate life threatening illnesses. People who are not morbidly obese will never understand what we go through. My surgery to get a gastric sleeve is in 2 weeks and 2 days. It will be a relief to shed more pounds quicker to help my life threatening illnesses. I hope this helps in answering your question.
