I was there visiting my sister and my nieces and brother in law in 23 I was at the market to such a cool pace Hawaii is so beautiful unlike any place I’ve seen or been before i got to be there for 2wks I didn’t want to leave

I was fortunate to be stationed at Pearl Harbor in 1980. I can't afford to travel anymore but when I could, Hawaii was my favorite destination. My last trip was to the Big Island. I remember walking Hilo and still have a favorite t-shirt I bought at a local thrift store. Thank you for the video. Mahalo!

Mainlanders have moved to Hawaii and turned it into Haoleland West. Hawaii is gone.

Hilo Bayfront is like being in a Hawaii 5-0 episode from the late 70s.Love Hilo!

Hilo definitely looks like a beautiful place that I want to visit. But, I can't help but shed a tear for my beautiful Maui Front St. that my wife and I have visited many times. Now, in our 70s, we pray that Front St. will be restored to its magnificent glory once again.

We honeymooned there 30 years ago and remember the church and the palace when they were standout structures out in the open. Town is unbelievably built up since then and one could almost miss those historic places. I also walked on the same retaining wall. It’s a beautiful place. Thank you for the video!

Great video. Thanks for not adding some cheesy music. That ruins most of the walking tour videos. I just watched your video fullscreen and pretended I was back in Kona, listening to the actual sounds as I walked along. Next best thing to being there.

I spent 2 weeks in Kona in 2002. The best place I have ever been as a tourist. Just beautiful. If I could afford it I would live there. Just a fantastic place. I had hoped to come back and snorkel more but i'm now 63 and the prospects of that happening are fading. If you have the means and desire, it is a great place to be.

I love the UCLA campus - thanks for this video walk down Memory Lane. I earned my master's and Ph.D. degrees at UCLA, and now my son is completing his master's degree there this June. My UCLA days were absolutely wonderful and I have many fond memories of it. Go Bruins! 💙💛
