Yeah, in essence I have other characters that I've done on Star Trek Online and wanted to use the main ships I liked from the main shows and movies. Unlike the Star Trek Series, however, this game (if you are doing Free To Play) rewards you with a new ship every 10 Levels (Promotions to higher Ranks). While from a Video Game perspective that's great, for an actual Series similar to that of the shows and movies, I wanted to have one Ship throughout this Series which improves and gets upgrades just as they do on the shows. Hence I got the U.S.S. Absolute and it will be the main ship throughout this Series, hence the title of the Series.

I just use a controller, no keyboard or mouse required. Also, unless they've added it on PC, while playing this on console you can set certain abilities to activate on a trigger, such as "If shields go down to 75%" Initially I was just Free To Play then I got a few things by putting some money into the game. In the end I considered how much I would play the game and the ships I would want to use on it so have ended up putting quite a bit into it 😅 Although I think I've reached the limit now that I have the ships I want. What you want to do is personal preference and it very much depends on how much time you'd spend playing the game and if there is a ship you definitely want to use. Hope that all helps.
