Wtf does lossless even change💀
Ironically, it's actually kinda about what it *doesnt* change. Until now, the only copies of this song available have been very low bitrate mp3's, which basically means they were missing parts of the audio to make the file size smaller. Lossless, on the other hand, doesn't do this, so you get the full frequency spectrum and don't lose any detail in the audio. Heres a visual comparison between the lossless version and a rip from soundcloud: imgur.com/a/BOfyMYc . The frequencies are represented by the brightness of the image. On the soundcloud rip, you can see a gap in the high frequencies that isn't there in the lossless version. this has a pretty big impact on the clarity and detail of the song. the difference on youtube is going to be alot less, but the main reason for uploading these is to link to the direct downloads where you can really get the most out of the better quality. TLDR, the old mp3 versions literally have the high frequencies of the track completely missing, and this version contains all the frequencies and details of the original track.
