    • @mgdcrochet
      @mgdcrochet 3 месяца назад

      Hmm, not sure. Maybe you’re adding an extra stitch at the end of each round? There’s no chain at the beginning of each round either. Double check your stitch count after each round as well. It’s listed in the pattern. Link in description.

    I’m on row 10 and my basket is quite floppy, will the sides get more sturdy as I build it up? Or should I start over before I get too far 😅

    • @mgdcrochet
      @mgdcrochet 6 месяцев назад

      So the sides of the basket are not exactly rigid. They also hold their shape better when there’s something in the basket. However, there is no increase in the number of stitches on the sides, so it should grow straight up. If you’re concerned, just make sure that your tension is not too loose. If your stitches are on the looser side, it will grow out a bit and could bow out and then become overly floppy. Hope that helps and good luck😊

      It seems like you’re going up at first, but when you are done the corner and continue back along the edge of the square to the next corner, it grows evenly all the way around
