@ministryoftrim way back I had a wing boat with an electric start 35 evinrude, tilt and trim,,,,, no mods at all was running a 19 clever, no idea of rims etc,,, but was a fun little Southport Broadwater morning hoon ship,,,, as for 550 cc I understand that but the 25 hp rules say no power tilt,,, hope 550 supersport rules are more open,,, good luck to your efforts

Hey jimmy, Water ski racing has been around for decades. There’s racing world wide, Australia has the some of the best known races including the southern 80, Sydney bridge to bridge, Grafton bridge to bridge, Hawkesbury 120 etc America has the Catalina water ski race, New Zealand has its own bridge to bridge and Belgium has the diamond race. Hey mate, come down to either St George powerboat club or upper Hawkesbury powerboat club one day. Both have great clubs days and spectacular events

Boat racing has never gotten the recognition needed for big funding.

@@ministryoftrim there from the mid 90s it's called a regal rush xp 120 HP loads of fun.....mini bow rider setup..I love watching the big V8 boats go racing..great events..
