CNG tanks expire after 15-20 years and it is not cheap to retank them. It is better to use a D40LF or LFR though some Canadian agencies have been able to convert a C40LF to a D40LF.

Hi sir,you need the roof up,and also take the windows out and putting rv windows and at this not the best bus you have a bus window trunk so I would putt the roof at 4m high and then you could trunk and the floor up that would be perfect . A good luck man Peter from Belgium Europe

First: calm down. circular hole could have been made by something else besides a bullet. If a bullet did come through your window, it either is lodged inside the bus somewhere or it went out the other side. So, do you have another hole on the other side of the bus? Anyway, why would strangers want to shoot you? Did you tick off someone? Your imagination might need to cool off so you can rethink it.

It's a great deal but I'm seeing a lot of RV's being dumped right now and I think it's going to get worse.

Unless there is something major I am missing, this is an absolute steal. This won't last long at this price. I bet Sewell out of Kentucky buys it and flips it for 200. I prefer the 40 footers but this is an amazing price.

I find it quite amusing the little things you say you found out about the bus, as it proves you're definitely not a bus rider! haha. As someone who for almost my entire life has used mass transit & my own feet (only two months now without having to), each of them were "no duh" moments for me that I thought was again, quite amusing. Like the top windows opening. haha. I would love a update on this conversion for sure!

One more thing... in regards to your driver seat, once the air pressure is (generally) over 100psi, there is a push button on the left side of the seat close to your knee... push that to add air to the seat, pull it to remove air. Hope that helps a bit!! Cheers

The large black box behind the driver seat used to contain radio/video equipment. The big tube would have been where all the wiring moved from inside the box into the ceiling.

Aaron, I recently purchased a transit bus to convert into a mobile production studio/lounge for my radio station. I'm having extreme difficulty securing parking for the bus and my insurance policy was just cancelled because I don't have a CDL. Can you suggest an insurance company and how I might apply whereby I don't require a CDL? Thanks in advance.

If you're having electrical problems, you should really check the Multiplex unit which lays under the driver controls

Not sure if it will be easy to get CNG during road trips...? About the speed limit on the engine: I used to work in a transit company and with any new buses they had to set up a resistor in the control panel to limit the speed. Before they did that the buses could run to somewhere over 75. But after they limit the engine it stopped working when you reach 65 and if you are downhill when you are 70 the retarder kicks in automatically. A bit annoying if you are on the freeway... You may want to check if you could get access to a manual from New Flyer? Try to dis-engage that thing. It should be fairly straightforward. (We used to have Eldorado National 40Ft low floors) Hopefully it helps.
