Any luck out on jax beach pier? I've been going there lately and only occasionally see pomps.

ive been surf fishing all my life in jax beach and have never caught a keeper pomp on fish bite. As soon as I put on a sandflea its game over. Not sure how people are successful with them

Love how you give respect to Jason and the work he put in while promoting an alternative in a respectful way. We've caught a lot of fish on Jason's jigs. I still have a bunch and I still use them but sparingly because I don't want to loose them and they represent some great memories. Mostly fish a modified dropper with a sesworx hook these days. I know these new jigs kill it though too and they're battle tested in the meca. Tight lines brother hope you're well

Nice to see anglers using proper reels ,just so much more fun to fish with ,I’m from the Uk a lot of anglers are now using fixed spool reels ,not for me I find there is so much more felel with a multiplier and more enjoyment for me .
