Hang on Lad, Sheffield isn't a town, it's got a Cathedral so it's a City, Sheffield City. reet. It's nowt like it was when I was born there in the mid 50s and in the preceding years I remember helping the builders (best not use the word to describe them) when the motorway was being built, it's changed beyond recognition, oh you did call it City Hall, Sheffield is or has lost itself with what the council has done to it. There is too much demolition, and too many new buildings are going up. Big pity. They call it progress, I call it one big shame.

Sheffield center is looking far better than it did few years ago its got hidden gems all oert place

Sheffield has been my home town since '94. A lot has changed since I first came to live here.

I’m from Sheffield and I’ve seen loads film inside Meadowhall .. It’s good for the shopping centre and helps bring people for visits , I think the security guy was just a miserable jobsworth probably bored 😂 .. If you had turned left instead of right when coming out of the city market it would have taken you to “ The Moor “ with a big cinema , large JD shop , Primark and other large stores , an adult fun golf / bar place etc it’s a pedestrian only place so no traffic . Also new shops popping up around there from regeneration .

Crow's nest park use to be lovely, had a pool , coffee bar & museum. Could spent all day there in summers in 70/80 with my kids
