Just saw Tina Turner: The Musical with my Mum for our birthday present to each other in London. Literal chills went up and down my body. As soon as I heard the opening to this song it was like static on my skin. I grew up listening to Tina as a kid in the 90s. My Mum already adored her. We'd mess up our hair and stand with our legs wide on the sofa singing this with a hairbrush and the tv remote for our microphone. Learning about some of the emotions behind how she sings makes it all the more beautiful. What a Legend what a Woman.
