This was the last full episode of NuWho I watched. It was a scene like this that just led to the final straw. This is soap opera dialogue. Later, Clara ruminates with a passenger about their boyfriend issues. That was it. Enough. NuWho has not been without good set ups in the stories at times. The space fantasy of a space train was one of them. My fiction writing teacher in university had a great piece of advice. If it does not advance the plot, cut it out. This is really true of action adventure. Doctor Who was never meant to be a soap opera. What a waste the show had become and has continued to be.

The place where demons, nephilim and fallen angels go along with the souls of the dammed upon the day of judgement is called the Abyss. Its warden is Abbadon and the Abyss is what exists outside of creation, a void, a great nothing. Hell is portrayed as a lake of fire because that is what the pain is akin to. The modern version of hell is a big metaphor for the true horror of what will happen to you.

This is why I watch RUclips. It's the most interesting pieces of the millions of different moives, series and stories I would otherwise never know about or have tue patience to sit through.

Im beeing a bit mean, but The Doctor still has some things to learn about biologie. Trees do in fact move around, they are just super slow. That's why we don't see it. Plants actualy make some noise, just not in a frequency we can hear. There is also a "wood wide web" of roots trees use to support joung trees of the same kind with nutrients or "attack" other tree species. They also exchange ceartain nutrients with mushrooms and warn each other in case there is some new parasite.

Technically, she wouldn't cease to exist, it would simply create a new timeline that is a different branch. Back to the Future's understanding of time travel is honestly dumb, in my opinion.

Scenes like this are why is one of my favorite Doctors.

Solution is simple and the same man who wrote this scene wrote the solution. Basically have Danny Pink escape his death and its fixed point with a Teselecta ship.

hated the boyfriend subplot.

so basically in the event that the doctor actually did die on trenzalore, this is where he would have been buried. But when the time Lord's gave him a new set of regenerations from "outside" the timeline, it allowed things to change so now this is no longer where the doctor dies and is buried. It also calls into question whether or not Clara is still present across all of his timeline but I guess we probably won't ever think about that again so it doesn't matter.

My head canon is that when Clara and The Great Intelligence entered into the Doctor’s timestream, the human Clara died and what the Doctor save was another version.

Probably my favorite line in the entire run of Who.

It's easy for Clara to think the doctor just goes around and changes time, but the show makes in extremely clear the doctor is just VERY good at stabilizing paradoxes permanently. I'd suggest the doctor's ability to manage, avoid, and maintain paradoxes is really only something he can do if he does all the planning. So Clara would have permanently poisoned the ability to bring pink back with this brazenly insane act, although respectable. Obviously the TARDIS helps out with maintaining currently hazardous paradoxes, but as we saw when the master took the TARDIS, it can't sustain paradoxes foreverw
