I was wondering if there is a marking scheme for these questions?
I think the answers are 99% accurate. But am just typing the markschemes and it will come at a cost
sir why at 1:33:25 u used 10 power 28 while in may june 52 2024 u didnt use the power?
when i get the anti log, i consider the power of 10. But if i didnt use the antilog in clculation, then its not needed
i love u bro
A nice website with great study materials launching soon. I am one of the contributers to the resources of Physics
i did not understand the number of waves no.23 why you chose b
thank you so much
cheers
Thank you for your explanation sir. It was helpful
33:48 why you divided Mx with every term. I meant to say that what's the logic behind it
mark scheme says 31 is D
Exam tomorrow and l am wondering 😂
not that i recorded before the scheme. I apologize for any errors. Thanks
for q12, why is it 24g x cos20 instead of 24g / cos20? isnt 24g the adjecent?
Thankyou sir, you're one of the best tutors😄
success
For q24 why does it not matter that the initial intensity is 0
Read the question carefully it said it was initially 0 but then the 45 degree filter was added in between so now it was not 0
@@heneedsomemilk751 how can a wave be polarized if its intensity is 0
@@victor8992 Its not the intensity is 0 after the horizontal filter, remember to read the questions carefully for tommorows paper otherwise your gonna end up making mistakes all cuz you got tricked by a question
Sir this was very helpful thank you so much
Success
20:50 why isnt the horizontal component used for q10?
I chose the shortcut. If you consider horizontal momentum you would get same answer. but horizantal and vertical can not be combined here
sir in q31 why did u add 100+50 for the power i dont get it? thank you
yes please. if we say x = 10, and then x increases by 5 then the new x = 15. so if the initial power is p and then it increases by 50% then the increase alone will be 0.5P so the new power is P+0.5P = 1.5P
hi sir in q24 why dont we square the cos20? thank you
the transmitted intensity is not the same as the amplitude. Check out the derivation of malus' law. we resolve the original amplitude to get the new amplitude
I can't understand what you mean when you say 1st order maximum
maximum means constructive interference occured. first order is the one closest to the the center
this was very helpful cuz its almost impossible to solve ppr one without the necessary explanations so these vids are quite the lifesaver.
all the best
amazing IBM god bless
hi, could you please link the tutorials? i'm interested
thx alot
all the best
❤
at 9:13 if electric field at point p is zero why is the potential there also not zero (since E = V/D); thank you sir for the video
Note that E is a vector yet Vis a scalar. Potential due to positive charge is also positive so we.just add it up. Yet E due to like charges is in opposite directions for each charge so we subtract
sir at 6:28 will i get 2 marks if i only write potential is zero at infinity and gravitational force is attractive? or should i write work is done aswell
It's better to add the part of work done
Sir seriously your explanations are really good......Thank you for making us understand physics ! Please keep this up becuz this helps alot of students ....Thank you ! ( Reminder plz share the 23 & 24 pprs too )
@@Px_nino_x7 I solved those papers. Check play lists

Ooooh how sweet. Thank you so much. I pray you excel
thanks a lot

@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM thank you so much sir I have downloaded
Is the syllabus up to date ?
yes
Hi there sir, for question 2 (b), (iii), when you were subtracting the area of the triangle and boxes from that of the graph itself, are you also meant to subtract that upper area? Like that mini rectangle above the graph itself above that line you drew because its also a part of the graph? I didn't understand that very well, and I might need help on that question. By chance do you have any video of similar type of kinematic questions where we need to subtract areas and more complex examples? Thank u
@@zzaenabz hello friend, always quote the time in your comment. I subtracted all the area above the curve because I wanted only the area below the curve. You can instead draw shapes below the curve and find the area of the shapes. Or count all the squares below the curve
@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM Alright sir, so if I for instance did not draw that horizontal line, I would count all boxes and subtract from the whole area of the grid given, I understand. Thank you so much sir.
Mola?
Thank you 👍
Not now
For your MCQ topical compiled papers, is there a pdf that has the answers to the questions?
It’s a good explanation
26:17 sir how can we know when to resolve it vertically and when horizontally
think of the quantity you are measuring. its only time which you can consider in any direction. height is vertical, horizontal distance consider horizontal
for more explanation, check in the play lists for lessons of kinematics and go to the last 3 lessons in the play list
The method is what carries marks. Just be positive and focus on the remaining exams.
Sir how many marks will I lose if I wrote change in x over change in y for gradient
@annali1278 that is common but you only lose a mark for interchanging axes but along as you follow next steps there is ecf error carried forward
@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM thanks, sir, I ended up with a negative resistance because of my wrong gradient, but I believe all my methods are correct, will that be penalized, thanks
The method is what carries marks. Just be positive and focus on the remaining exams.
watch me 00003
Hello sir.. sir how many marks will they deduct if in Q1 the dependent and independent variables are switched ? Because it also affects the following steps
You can still get about 13 or 14 marks if you follow your choices carefully. At times u can even get full marks if you did correct graph, gradient which matches your choices
Left with 5 hours till i write the exam and this video has helped me so much thank you
All the best
Yes
Do u mean total current stays the same when resistors are in series
Hello sir, what if we measured the e magnetic flux density by calibrating a voltmeter in tesla?
Sir, why u din involve the 10^-5 when u finding c for q2d
1:12:43 why you didnt multiply by 1000
34:32 the area is Inversely proportional to Resistance so shouldnt it INCREASE by 4 times? Thanks for the video!
Its area which increases by factor of 4 so resistance decreases by same factor since they are inversely proportional
@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM yes that's absolutely right, my exam is in 10 hours I'm just getting nervous!
@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM yes that's absolutely right, my exam is in 10 hours I'm just getting nervous!
U can draw a rectangular thin long object and just name it. But if u studied magnetism you know the shape. However important to just write how it is used in one direction then in the opposite direction and an average value of B is obtained
sir we cant just leave the string hanging right??? shouldnt we draw a clamp on it aswell?? 19:53
I don't think u need a clamp since u will be pulling upwards to cause a force
sir for q3 d from where did u get the uncertainty
gd when you quote time in the comment That is not uncertainty but in finding area when the graph is not a straight line, we can not all get the same answer. So the examiner decides a range in which the answer should fall
Do you really need to explain stuff like "I will do this"? Can’t you just give bullet points and listed phrase format for example "•the independent variable is x and defendant variable is y •keep z constant •use (apparatus) to measure (independent variable) •use (apparatus) to measure (dependent variable) •take care for (risk), (e.g.) wear gloves •repeat measurements for (dependent variable) for same (independent variable) and find mean for (depedant variable) Etc?
I teach my students to write a plan, not to point out marking guide points. I encourage students to put them selves in the experiment. The experimental procedure should be workable in the lab. Nevertheless you can bullet your answer the way examiners point out marking points but I can not teach my students such. My students write alot so that the examiner picks out 15 marking points and thus score highly. Thank you.
@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM ohh ok I see🙌 but if I wrote in a bulleted way would it be equally fine though? Because I just want to stay on the safe side of things without writing too much (because I’m a slow writer)
@@connor__schmitz4619 well you are free to write in any style as long as you write alot. Because its beter to write about 20 points so you wont be able to know what the examiner will consider as major marking points. the examiner will consider 15 points though which hold more water
@@learnPHYSICSwithIBM oh ok thank you I will keep that in mind🙌😁 and for the graph in question 2, could I draw 2 different dotted triangles for each gradient of best fit and worst fit line instead of just 1? And should I state the points that I’ll take from gradient triangle right next to them or on the outside of the graph at the axes?
@@connor__schmitz4619 u can
