Thank you for creating this Jennifer. I'm looking forward to going on the journey of developing a training program with you. I'm working full-time as a trainer for an organization. I am the only person responsible for training and development making me a one-woman show. I've been there for 8 months and it feels like they are so resistant to everything I say and do. 1. When you get a chance, can you please speak about how you communicate your process to the client? Like you said, helping them understand that this is what they believed needed immediate attention vs. what you have assessed. I am also wondering, 2. Do you think that working in the organization full-time vs. consulting with an organization is harder? From my experience, I have been having more success/progress with my client vs. my full-time job. Part of that is because I am immersed in the culture making it hard to be seen as the knowledge expert. Or at least that's what I have been telling myself lol 😂Do you have any thoughts on this?

This was timely for me.

I travelled with my sister and a friend, it turns out that everything that my friend said that my sister didn't agree she was trying to right about, thankfully my friend is graduated in psychology 😅, because if it was another friend it could end up in a fight because it was pretty annoyed, my sister used to do that with me frequently but she never did it with someone I care, I felt angry but didn't say anything.

Life is 10% what happens and 90% your reaction. Self-awareness and being grateful changed my life! Brilliant dear!

People don't like teams because they can't do their best hooked up to someone else. There's all this negotiating that goes on and the pareto principle always holds true. 20% of the people do 80% of the work. But the 80% get rewarded just the same, so there's that sense of injustice that comes to mind. We dislike parasites, the kinds which we have to take medication for and the human kind who sponge off of us. Too, most teams don't clearly divvy up the responsibilities, and when they are divvy'ed up one often finds that the easy portion gets assigned to someone else, whereas the hard hard goes to us. Again, if people WANT to do teamwork and all the people on the team are like minded, no problem, but most of the time team participation is inflicted and failure to rejoice at having this "gift" inflicted upon us, is viewed poorly, so we have to pretend to like it, which means it puts us into the position of participating in a lie.

This unfortunately is so true today 😔a lot times it comes down to unconscious biases that we are taught or from the environment that we come from as far what how we perceive woman or women of color. 🤔She could have the necessary skills set for that leadership role but there is always that person who will see her as intimidating or aggressive.

I think this is a good avenue to pursue a Certified coupled with my natural skill to effectively deliver material. What are your thoughts on ID?
