Years ago I went to a hockey game at the Providence Civic Center. It was scheduled for 7:05. They had Monster Jam that afternoon. They didn't get it done in time. They didn't get all the dirt of the ice so the game was postponed.

I worked for a minor league hockey team in Reading, PA .. Their stadium is not much bigger than this one. But I do have to give many props to all of the arena crews. Those hours are long and it's pretty much a thankless job.
