I want to mod PS2 games I dont know how to access the files. For example Dolphin Emulator you go to extract entire disc and it makes a SIS file and also all the files for the game. How do you do it for PS2? I know how to do it for Gamecube and PC games. For PS 2 its only a ISO how do I access the files and edit them and then play those edited files in PCSX2. For example I use 1.60 version I want to do it with that one. so I can use Industrial Park for BFBB PS2 but i want to learn how to access PS 2 files in general.
you have to use a program to be able to extract the content from the ISO. im not sure if a general ISO program works or if you need a specific one. once you have the files you can load it into the editor, though ps2 is a different format for models so it wont have a visual display

Does this work for .rvz files?
These videos are only usable for the HIP and HOP file types that Heavy Iron games use, it does display some generic renderware stuff like txd and bsp but i dont think its possible to use Industrial Park on other files
im putting this here to remind myself that it's SHIFT + RIGHT CLICK, whoever decided to make it that way... that's unintuitive. but whatever, i'll try to remember.
Bros in the wrong game
I am currently working on my custom map mod for BFBB but I am running into 2 issues. I imported signs with the editor files the sign I am copying over is the one from HB 02 . Its the one the teaches you about shiny objects in the kitchen I copied over the sign plus the shiny object text when you read the sign. there is a pointer i copied over there and copied over the 2 triggers for the sign . the problem i am having is it wont come up with Press R prompt. so I cant actually read the sign. the other question I have is i am trying to do something with hovering platforms. For example I want to make it so you can disable the move points for when the level starts so i can do something like press a button and have the hovering platform start to move. or something where i place down a trigger where i put in enter player enable hover_mp_01 so i can start the hovering platform while jumping on it. but, when i type in disable in the links when i type in disable and the 2 other things that i said in the links when the level starts the hovering platform moves automatically. I want the platform to be visible and have collision Iam just trying to disable the move points. how do i disable it and re enable it? can you please help me?
For the signs in the pineapple, one trigger forces the player to read the sign, then theres one for the Press R prompt, and then theres a 3rd one that makes the little R button appear above the sign. Make sure the trigger to read the sign has like EnterPlayer > StartConversation for the event/link. As for the platforms you can specific in Plat Flags to Dont Start Moving and it wont move when the level starts

you get hip/hop files from the actual game, can be taken from a game ISO. you can get the Sys folder with dolphin and itll show up on the list

Hmm I wonder why it's unused, it seems cool at least to me. Was it too hard or was it just not vibing with you? The icecream jumping part seems like a nightmare tbh. I remember this stage but it's been a while since I played it so I can't recall if it was in this hack or not. Cool either way to see a beta of this.
i felt like the level wasn't really challenging and didnt fit in well with the mod. in addition to that, since the beta patrick's dream doesnt exist on the xbox version i wasnt able to get it to work for xbox when trying to port it over, so i had to toss it to save myself another month on release time
It kinda feels weird that you're playing the entire game backwards
I am assuming this is only possible with the Gamecube version, not sure how to do it in PS2 and XBOX.
it was primarily tested with gamecube, i dont think some of the randomizer settings work with other consoles (like robots in other levels) but ones that just swap stuff around should be fine, though im not sure how versions of the randomizer like the other consoles

that wouldve been one way but i figured out how to get the star to just follow the player, and the game checks for 100 coins every second to show it
This is quite an impressive port. I especially like the detail of the pickups from blocks actually dropping to the floor. Nicely done!

bfbb was inspired by sm64 so it kinda works out, its just bfbb is much easier to control so this brutal level is now a joke :p

I am still working on my mod its coming along great i am trying to make a trigger to load a song from a different level i looked at sm04 for the trigger for slide music i found it in the links it says enter player play music and the last thing is missing when i copy and past the trigger i cant find it.
you need to do Enter Player > PlayMusic > Dispatcher. it is required to have a Dispatcher asset to send the link to. also in the argument box #1 you can use a number 0-23 for which song to use. heavyironmodding.org/wiki/Essentials_Series/Sound_and_Music#PlayMusic_Event
hi, Iam interested in something new i wanna try. iam trying to port enemies from movie game to BFBB or BFBB to movie game. I tried to import them through Industrial Park I used the editor files i was in BFBB and I opened movie game editor files and glicked the fogger goofy goober enemy the 1.52 version of the editor gives a error message and says unsupported. i ignored it when i clicked on template for that enemy it didnt show up so i tried the new editor the strange thing is when i did the same thing with the editor files and did not give a error message and everything showed up. so i clicked template and the chuck robot showed up in the goofy goober level for movie . so, it looked fine so i saved hiphop file went into the game and it crashed. one time i tried porting it manually am I suppose to make a save as file for anything from either game and then open it in the other game like you did with the hammer robot in one of your videos. Iam not sure how to get this to work would u be able to help me with this.
both games code doesnt support the enemies from the opposite game. you can maybe get the models in at best but the enemies wont function properly. movie models and animations are a different version than bfbb ones and are massively unsupported
@@TetraxZ i found something pretty cool. someone made a mod and i dont know how they did this they actually got the hammer robot to function in movie game. he had his sound for noticing you and the hammer sound was replaced with the goofy goober slam sound. the hammer even moves around with the animations I dont understand this. he must have done it a different way he said something about editing the dyna. he didnt explain it but he said he just edited the dyna. he even got the tikis both wooden stone and thunder tikis to appear in Im ready depression. i dont understand this because it says unsupported. the only thing that was glitchy in his video is the hammer robot didnt have part of his stomach. oh btw Iam working on a custom map for BFBB its coming along very well and i got timers, duplicator trons to work I imported the gates from downtown, the spongeball wall timer 01 and i made the level layout from scratch. its amazing what you can do with Industrial Park. i also tried the new size randomizer it is cool and makes the whole level giant.

How do I test the Xbox version? It doesn't have a sys folder or anything.
Also will I be able to copy the HIP and HOP files to the other versions or will I have to recreate them for each version?
@@sammytiel For xbox you have to rebuild an iso each time. I use Qwix for this, and you can load it into XEMU or CXBX-R. You arent able to copy them directly but Industrial Park has a Convert Archive function that lets you pick a folder of xbox level files to take a few files from (animations, models, etc).

is there a difference between the versions of the industrial park
each update has major differences but its just suggested to use the most up to date version. or use version shown in the videos

A missed opportunity for the dev to make the enemy variants and Spongebob and Patrick's costumes appearences. Like Mini Mervs would be in Planktopolis and Planktoplis Foggers would be in Goofy Goober's. Or like Ice Cream Drunk Patrick and Spongebob would be in Planktoplis and Men Patrick would be in the Thug Tug
The vomit flingers from this game are attacking my dreams. They flew in from Jupiter and want to colonize Earth with the Foggers lol. People have to hide from view. *scary stealth music intensifies*

I do this, and it gets stuck at 99.4%. I'm going to test it and see if it works. EDIT: It might be because I am using the European version of the game. EDIT2: I tried doing the NTSC version and it got stuck at 99.8% this time around. I am not sure what I have done wrong. EDIT3: I found out the problem. I was rebuilding it inside of my SD Card to ready to shove into my console. People remember that if you are doing this, do it on your main hard drive especially on your Desktop. Otherwise the rebuilding of the game won't finish.
I found away to randomize SpongeBob Patrick and Sandy voices and sound. its a bit buggy in the new randomizer sometimes it will give you and error message and not play the game. even if you click ignore it will not work, but if you use the old randomizer 1.52 industrial park. what you have to do is click single file option in randomizer and randomize the hop files for SpongeBob Patrick and Sandy. You might have to randomize sound and voices only for those files, when that's done you can randomize the full game and it should still work, in the old build it work the new build it work but when i tried to randomize the rest of the game it crashed. so i recommended using the old build for randomizing these files.

I am learning more about porting different things. I got JF01 teetertotter to work and a lot of other things. what are the files you need for the electric fences in BC01, because I imported the modals and textures for the fences and electricity, what are the other things i need to make it work. Because the electricity is frozen on the fence and doesn't turn off and on in the middle. walking into the fence only hurts you. The other problem i am having is when i use the duplicatotron in a level that normally has them they work as intended when use the links. But when you import them using editor files to a level that doesn't have them there lights have these big black squares around them, and when you fill in the links it either spits one enemy out when have 2 enemies you kill one of them it will not spit another one out. do you know how to stop this problem.
theres an asset called EGEN which is used for the electric line between 2 poles, which uses MVPT or can use SIMPs to connect them. the duplotron lights are part of the PIPT which handles transparency for stuff, and you can use a NPC Settings dyna to control how the duplotron will spawn enemies, if its after all are dead or one etc

I have a question, i am having a problem loading one of the unused levels in BFBB. Its the early goo la goon level named "new folder". i have have tried replacing the exciting file, i moved the finished goo la goon to the desk top and put the early goo la goon file to the normal goo la goon location to replace it. How ever the level loading screen crashes. i did press the ignore error message but it still will not load. I found out that you need to keep the normal used glo1 hip file and just replace the hop file and replace it with the unused one. When i moved the unused file to the finished goo la goon folder location the files do not go in their respective location. They drop down to the bottom of the GL folder so i tried to replace Sandy's tree dome with early goo la goon. and it still crashes even though i kept the existing GLO1 hip file and just replaced GLO1 hop file with unused one. Any ideas what i can do to play this stage.
The early version of Goo Lagoon has a different format for most of the assets in the level, and the game won't read the different format so it cant be loaded ingame. In the level editor the hip file is very messed up as the format is different

hey so i have a problem i did everything but when it says randomizing and loads, at like 50 percent it closes itself. why?
i think some versions of randomizer don't work fully properly, i suggest downloading and trying out an older version of it. make sure to reset the game files so they're unmodified too
