sorry for the lack of anti-airs, dropped combos, and all around spaghetti. classic controls were a long learning process, and i still can't consistently get pinwheel to come out lmao.
Hi this is amazing! I’m glad I found your channel! I’m a juri main myself & really started taking this game more seriously lately. (Currently about to reach gold) I was wondering if you use leverless or stick? (Or something else perhaps?) also any small tips ? 🥹
@@Phaseillfigure I play on controller. When I first started playing until around plat, I focused pretty heavily on shutting down cheesy, high reward options. Practicing your reactions like anti-airs, drive impact, and checking drive rush are very manageable ways to keep yourself safe. Good luck!

Focus on anti-air. Plus one easy combo to punish DI. It will be enough.

@@LRomer0Congrats! Using dp as an AA is pretty impressive! Does it work well with cross-ups too? I have some troubles when opponent jumps like that.
@@such-ej Im still figuring out how to deal better with crossups aswell , but if the jump is going to be ambiguous generally i think medium punch dp can catch it if you react fast enough since it goes straight up i believe

9 times out of 10 it's timing, make sure you're timing your inputs, not mashing, for best consistency. Apart from that it's just practice practice practice! Start small and work your way up, you'll get there!
I feel the same I am diamond 1, I pass my life on the training mode and I can't do a simple Lp, Lp, lk, dp or a any drive rush combo. I really don't understand how to be better, it's like al these hour of training are useless. Seems hard but when I go to the game every body can combo so easily so frustrating :(

ngl im dooky at 6 button so i play modern. i have not been able to figure out modern feng shui at all LMFAO
BigNastyKail! I'm almost certain he has something on that, if not I'm also almost certain he'd respond in stream. He's your guy! I understand the difficulty with classic controls, I used modern up until plat. Stick with it and you might be surprised how fast you can pick up any control scheme!

I think Juri is definitely going to get nerf in the next patch. Either that or other characters are going to get speed buffs and more frame advantage over her. Juri has so much speed and can 3+ with her grab
idk she's definitely got the tools to be top ten but I don't think she's anywhere near as polarizing as Luke or the other top top tiers. her stubby jab and low damage conversions off of crouch med kick hold her back a little imo

not a bad guide, i'd just add that using dive kick is better for corner carry, for minimal DR you can go corner to corner very easily and still get a safe jump. Also if you want to burn your opponent out then you should use DI to punish the DP and then activate SA2. That way they lose 5 bars of drive gauge.

I don't have time to lab it rn but for that last combo, wouldnt cutting that first j.lp actually deal more dmg due to scaling?
i believe it would adjust the launch of the dive kick and mess up the safe jump timing, i could be wrong but i believe the purpose of this particular combo route is to hit exactly 42 frames advantage for the safe jump
these combos are more for setups and not damage, like most of juri SA2 use.
