But when I was studying in this college from 1971-76(two years pu and 3 years degree), there were about 54 combinations in the faculty of Arts and some experts used to set up the time table. It had the credit of teaching the highest number of combinations in the whole of Asia. Now, the structure has changed and I do not know the latest structure. During my days only undergraduate courses were taught. But now, p.g courses have also been introduced. Its centenary celebration was held in the year 1951 and a huge auditorium called maharaja college centenary hall was constructed where many cultural programmes and college functions and speech by eminent people are organized.
