This 2'x4' is based on Steve's Trains 2x3 Layout. I added an extra foot to provide a little more room for bridges and scenery, once I get around to that. The lower loop is a twice around with 3 5urnouts. The upper loop is KATO CV1 kit with a couple extra small KATO pieces of track for a touch more room.

Dual fuel. Start up on diesel, then switch over to natural gas.

It's hard to believe that little generator takes that much power to run.
Are you talking about the "exciter" on the end...??? The generator is in the big square enclosure between the two sets of stairs.

Ah just worked on one these today,
Way back in the 60's and early 70's my dad and myself worked for CB building these Diesels and also bigger ones. I quit and went back in the military but he retired from the plant. It was quite interesting if you were mechanical in nature and loved the big engines and what and who made them.
Thats a big sick ass 2 stroke! it dwarfs an EMD 2 stroke!
@@jlo13800 It was something that once it was all put together and they did the first start up the ground up down the street would vibrate until they got it good and hot then tuned it up!!!!
Now thats one insane 2 stroke!
@@jlo13800 They built one that was so darn big that after they got it put together and run out, they had to split it to fit on two railroad cars and it shipped to Texas!!!

Is this the stock lighting? I've had trouble getting frogbit to grow in the past(not sure why)in my other tank, and wanted to see if people were having luck with it in a regular Spec V.
Nice tank! I'm looking into starting shrimp and I have the same idea for filtration. An aqua clear with a sponge over the intake.
Originally tiny shrimp did get sucked into that small hole. Currently I have a piece of clear plexiglass in between the sponge filter and the inside of the false wall to block that inlet hole.
Is your kessil loud? Mine seems a bit loud and warm up close? Is this normal or a defect?
Mine does have a whir to it. It also runs warm to the touch.
Hi, I have the nuvo 16, ghost skimmer and IM media reactor as well, I was wondering does your set up produces unwanted micro bubbles to the display? Thank you in advance
I do get micro bubbles. I really don't pay a whole lot of attention to them tho. I also get them on my Oceanic 30 gallon reef that has a HOB filter, so I'm used to seeing them. To me, it's kind of like the scratches in my glass... I don't let it bother me.

It's been on my IM Nuvo almost 2 weeks now. I love the Kessil. I'm hoping to pick up a small hammer and a pink birdsnest for this tank in the near future.
