I honestly never understood the hate the Revival/Tour version of CATS gets. I understand how iconic and timeless Gillian Lynne’s choreo is. But Andy Blankenbeuhler’s is great too and the actors are all so clearly passionate about the characters they play. I’m also a bit mad there isn’t any footage of the current tour cast haha.

I saw him the other night, he was so good. Wish there was a close up of him. He does a great job!

I saw this in Milwaukee recently and I honestly loved how they stuck to the '98 film in some aspects but also made it newer so it can still reach out to the new people who haven't seen the show.. it's still incredible when I saw it in 2009-2010 it's just as good if not better now!!

Going to be seeing this show in San Francisco in a few weeks. I cannot wait! Funny story: In 8th grade during my Washington DC/New York City trip, we went to go and see Cats at the Neil Simon Theatre on Broadway in NYC. Since I was not into theater when we went, I couldn't help but laugh at the "people crawling and dancing like cats" on stage. Fast forward to 2022, I've just begun my journey to Broadway and I absolutely fell in love with the art of theater. I'm going to see the show for a 2nd time to actually enjoy it the way I'm supposed to lol. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a real turning point in life. It made me realize that my current career choice takes forever to move up in the ranks (pyrotechnician aka professional fireworks display operator). I decided that I'd start learning to sing and dance at the age of 18 years old, and 1 year later am beginning my journey to becoming a pyrotechnician for Disney and at the same time my journey to Broadway and to one day be a lead singer in the Cats national tour. I'm certain I'll make it, one show at a time. I've never thought I'd actually get into performing, but as said before; COVID-19 was a life-changing time for me I'm just imagining my two career choices as two parallel railroad tracks. Broadway & Pyrotechnics. Since I'm starting both of the journeys this year, that's why I see my two choices of careers this way.
