Competence

Gallup has been playing "Chicken Little, the Sky Is Falling, the Sky is Falling" for decades. Here's something to consider. The EE/EX tools. Experts, speakers, authors, and HR Tech have grown exponentially for decades, yet the Gallup needle hasn't moved. Might this suggest we're going about this all wrong? "It's not technology, it's people". Absent any examples of companies transforming EE/EX that impacted business metrics is the proof. Gallup has all the WHAT research and no HOW research. The WHAT is the easy part when there's no measurement. Kind of an "any port in a storm" approach. If Gallup had a solution, they would be selling to CEOs and not HR.
