Adventures of a mum learning how to ride motorcycles! I don't have fancy equipment, and I don't have an awful lot of time for editing. But here is my journey and I am loving it, so do come over and hit that subscribe button and I'll update with my thoughts and musings when I'm feeling inspired. I mostly love to chat and I love comments with advice and support for new riders. I may not have been riding for long but I am so passionate about the joy and benefits that bikes I brought for me and I would love to inspire more new riders to add more diversity to the biking community :-)

One of my favourite places in the world. This year it was finally time to bring the kids along for their first one!
The footage is totally shaky because we were too busy trying to be present and enjoying ourselves. But I've strung together the clips as best as I could. Of course, this is only a tiny snippet of an epic experience! But here is the festival through the kids eyes 😊

OOOOPS! An eventful day riding the Burnham Bends

Here's what happened when I went to meet Anthea (@restore_the_gears) and some of her friends. Unfortunately, after wonderful conversation over lunch, her friend had an accident which meant he was unable to ride home. Then I experienced my first technical fault with the bike. All home safe and sound in the end but this day was definitely a learning curve!!!

Sometimes you just have to grab these opportunities as soon as they arise! Especially if you're a working parent like me, time off doesn't happen very often! In hindsight I was extremely under-prepared for the cold but it turned out to be a really epic road trip and a test of character and endurance. I've got the bug for touring on a motorcycle and I can't wait to do more in the spring and summ...

Can't wait to get going and seeing as this is a rather rebellious thing for a mum to do, I thought I'd video log my experience of getting into motorcycling! A very different festival experience for us! First full weekender with the kids in tow! We might have had early nights but we still had a blast!! We’ll be back!!

I noticed you set off from ipswich and say you don't know anyone. I ride with Anglian biker collective, we have a fortnightly bike night on Thursdays at the shannon in bucklesham not far from Ravenswood. Always welcome there and the foods great. Also I'm the photographer who took you're picture at Burnham bends 😉

What a day wow good watch what happened with that guy did he hit some diesel or somethin , a little tip have a couple decent cable ties tucked away somewhere they can be very useful in emergencies shame no bikes went past I would think they would have stopped to help ya ,one hell of a busy road that : ) good one

Great to see you going for it 😁 If I could recommend anything it’s to look out for local bike groups to join in with bike runs Most will be more than happy for you to ride with as they will help and advise any never leave a biker behind A good group of mixed people will give you so much more out of your biking future Always ride to how you feel comfortable, get ready for the bigger bikes as they are so much more easy to ride on distance Looking forward to seeing you out and about 👍

Its great to see videos like this, helping inspire other riders who are worried, riding for the first time can be intimidating, but it gets easier every time and before you know it the fun out weighs the fear and its all enjoyment.
