Breathing Alveoli Cluster Using Looping Dynamics
Alveoli are the tiny sac-like structures in your lungs that exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. This Cinema 4D demo is a breakdown of a recent social media post by MadMicrobe Studios. It shows how the alveoli, bronchiole, and surrounding vessels were modeled. These are then put into motion using Cinema 4D's recently updated soft body dynamics engine. The motion is the looped perfectly by using the cached dynamics to drive a deformer.

C4D Overview - 15 Clot and fibrin
Просмотров 2047 месяцев назад
Blood clots are made up of red blood cells and platelets tangled up in a web of fibrin. In this demo, we cover how to use Cinema 4d's dynamics within to create a clot in a vessel, and then use Field Forces to create fibrin that wraps around and in between the individual red blood cells. After everything is modeled, we use MoGraph to give some slight motion to the RBC's that are stuck, and creat...
Constraints in Molecular and Macro Animation - AMI 2023

Thanks for watching! if you have any comments or questions feel free to drop them below. At the 2023 AMI Conference in Henderson NV, I gave a presentation at the Maxon booth on Constraints. This topic came about because many animators avoid this powerful tool because they can be unpredictable. In this demo, I show techniques to make constraints solid and completely predictable. Constraints are ...

    Im finding a way to use vertex map a long time with deformers. I didnt know you can just drag it on the fields. What a great teacher!

    Can you use vortex maps to map clones in RS Matrix ?

    • @ericsmall24
      @ericsmall24 Год назад

      I suppose so. You can use vertex maps as a field for an effector. So if you were to use a Plain effector with scale set to -1, or the "visibility" check box activated, you could drag the vertex map into the Plain effector's field. The vertex map would then be controlling where the matrix is visible and where it is not.

    Thanks for this tutorial. I’m blending textures on a guitar body. I thought I could set the overall vertex weight to zero (which I can), and paint the yellow areas that I want to reveal an underlying texture (which I also can). Problem is, I can’t find any way to “paint” a softening of the yellow edges. You show the process of applying the paint tool to soften the whole selection, but how can I soften the map selectively, like I might in photoshop? I’ve tried using the blur tool, but as soon as I select it, my vector map becomes uneditable. What am I missing here? Can you help? I can’t find a single RUclips video that takes me through this process. Everything is about fields, or softening the entire map. Hope that makes sense. Many thanks again.

      you should be able to follow the steps shown in the video to get to the paint tool and set it to "smooth" mode. But instead of pressing "apply all," use the cursor in the viewport to click/drag over the section of the vertex map you want to smooth. With the paint tool in "smooth" mode, the tool will smooth the transition only in the area you're painting, as opposed to across the entire vertex map.
