The National Community Reinvestment Coalition is a network of organizations and individuals dedicated to creating a nation that not only promises but delivers opportunities for all Americans to build wealth and live well. We work with community leaders, policymakers and institutions to advance solutions and build the will to solve America’s persistent racial and socio-economic wealth, income and opportunity divides, and to make a Just Economy a national priority and a local reality. This vision is the foundation of the Just Economy Pledge.
NCRC’s unique mix of research, investigations, investments, media, grant-making, training, advocacy, litigation, lending, convening and facilitation strengthens communities of historic disinvestment, expands economic mobility, holds public and private institutions accountable for their impacts, and informs local and national leaders, policymakers and the private sector

Thank you for this documentary. I’m going to be showing it to someone elderly. They just don’t understand how this works and can’t understand that they need to stop speaking to these people and that they’re scammers. 😩

Thinking about anybody being better yes slavery here was a horrible thing but let that go man that was so far back in a different time get over it stop living your life about history you can't change and stop blaming today everything that doesn't go your way on damn slavery there's your racist you can't gun down a family and blame your ass kicking on oh because I'm black no that dog is dead you gonna be stupid you better be tough stop reflecting on slave days ..I'm so sick and tired of NAACP bringing their ass down here to justify a cop that's been murdered holding a rally bringing up slavery ..

Honey don't come to the south that's normal slang for us ...😂
Very good information.
In a world of steel-eyed death and men who are fighting to keep warm, Stephan shines as a beacon of light and prosperity felt around the world. I first became aware of his excellency during a midday tête-à-tête with a gregarious and charming individual who could only, I presume, identify themselves simply as Aayush. After quickly reconciling a minor clerical error with gentleness and comfort felt rarely outside of the womb, I felt prompted, no, urged, urged to ask my dear Aayush, what is it that drives a customer service representative such as yourself to reach for such lofty peaks? Through electromagnetic interference that rendered him nearly unintelligable, Aayush regaled me on the finer points of professionalism and championship that Stephan has instilled within the Huntington family. I left that call a changed man. Thank You, Stephan. Thank You.
Were any women harassed during Martin Gruenberg’s presentation?
This speech would be suitable 50 years ago. Few old man protecting the decline of the dollar at the cost of the developing world. Easily done when you get a $300k paycheque.
🙄 Promo`SM
This guy is a born wealthy shyster.
Huntington is a sweatshop. All micromanagers. I will never bank with them
❤RFK JR/TULSI. 24 ❤❤❤
You can't fight racism with racism. Fine example of race baiters looking for yummy piles of money so more freeloaders can spend even more of their free time commiting crime and selling drugs.
They pushed back on Nancy and what she was trying to say, and yes, it was arrogant. She says that it was always about class. They wanted to talk about race. Yes, race is apart of it, but class is so much more of a dividing line. I teach in a magnet school that brings in STEM kids. You have poor kids, rich kids, mostly black and brown kids, but also a lot of white and asian kids, too. You know who they hang out with? Kids hang out with kids in who are in their own social class. It supersedes race by far.
Most of that so-called "private information" is readily available and in many cases, it is public information.
The discriminatory power is the only one that needs to be monitored. That is how HMDA is most powerful. Getting the lender's record of these identities by how they "observe" them is most important. There should be no excuse for missing data.
They need to require more grantmaking to nonprofits, too!
This definitely went way too fast. I’ve been trying to consume everything Nancy Isenberg, and this was a great conversation. I especially appreciate the comment by J. Phillip Thompson. If conversations like this were mainstream, we would become united as we address critical issues of marginalization in this country.
🤔 *Promosm*
Get rid of MF and that way appreciation of customer will be absolute.
It's nice to see you on the platform for NCRC. How is this platform going to help out folks. Sugar in the grits is not going to put any rent prices down, and the homeless get to move up in their situation. I know your journey. The issue is the banks and mortgage companies taking advantage of home owners while trying to keep their home. Big banks give home owners mortgages to other banks without any notices. While home owners are continuing to pay their original banks. Money not being transferred to their new mortgage company who bought their loan.
What do you think about the section 8 problem around the country. Landlords are not wanting to accept section 8 in high end areas. Should there be an option for section 8 tenants to buy a home with there vouchers. This is an ongoing problem around the country now. This is something worth talking about. Maybe next year.
Sadly, there are several incorrect assertions within the first 1/3rd of this presentation. For example, a bank may NOT use an entire state as an assessment area. Assessment areas may not expand substantially beyond a MSA boundary.
How can I keep these comments professional? This is a railroading. Plain and simple.
Y'all just don't want to work and your process encourages people that work for the government to use the new resources for their own personal benefits and this affects everyone.
In restitution by many people.
Hay you know what may help following rules and having a long line of people filing cases and getting paid after the case like y'all rules say
How is the economy is it doing bad
Thank you, this was very informative. 👍🏾

I have to get personal. I have seen personally what the banks has done for the under serve Communities. I have worked one on one with client Advocating for fair Tactics with their Mortgages and the banks. 1. Clients who participate in the harp program are the ones who are mostly caught in the discriminatory Practices. Example. 1. the banker refinance in their name because the original homeowner credit is not good. the original homeowner stays in the property and pay rent to the mortgage holder who is the mortgage broker. then when they cannot pay the home is taken from the original homeowner, who has no knowledge, they are not the mortgage holder and loses their home. Nothing can be done. 2. Modifications. Most banks ask for a three payment of good faith payments. After the mortgage holder pays the three payments on time. and have the proof it was paid on time. the banks accepted the three payments. homeowner is told by the banks mortgage companies. Modification is denied because the three good faith payments did not register on the mortgage company on time. Even they show the proof they are asked to make the payments again for the good faith practice. the banks and mortgage company get paid double the money for the modification. I have client you can investigate they will show you this proof. I have defined other practices as well. this why some of the banking and mortgage practices are outdated. new rules should be made. I have some ideals. ask me later.
CRA's are really necessary for the right reasons.
Building home ownership. How NCRC is going to do this? NCRC Growth Fund. for the NON-PROFITS or to be implemented threw Community Development for affordable homes to be built in under deserve neighborhoods. Affordable homes in neighborhoods. Who shall apply for the GROWTH GRANT? ALL ORGANIZATIONS HAS TO START FOR SOME PLACE. NOT JUST ONE NON-PROFIT SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THIS PROCESS TO KNOW IT AND UNDERSTAND IT TO MAKE AFFORDABLE HOUSING WORK. ALL WHO APPLY AND QUALIFY SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THIS PROCESS OF AFFORDABLE HOME OWNERSHIP. Ms Donna gave a great presentation along with Mr. English and Mr. Woodlin. Each Speaker had a great unique explanation on how Growth funds could possibly work in their communities. I do believe in NCRC.
Saule is on point and remarkably talented.
Even just listening to the intros I feel like I've learned a ton!
Just what I was looking for. This is so excellent, please keep me in the loop for future discussions, would love to listen in.
I agree reparation NOW....
No reparations no vote
well it is no exaggeration to say that small businesses are the back bone of the economy and community development banking is a work in progress. I personally hate the concept of lending at the moment, I really do.. I guess the sooner I see my accounts with my own eyes, the sooner the reality can sink in and form the basis of my attitude reformation. Ali
Reparations Now 🔥🔥🔥
