Two upfront almost paid off. You have to remember Bath are professional and they were very well organised at the back. We did well to hold our own and, apart from a dubious free kick, Enfield would have won. Hard luck lads , keep fighting.

Hard earned draw. But, it should have been 3 points. We need to stop being so sloppy at the back and more aggressive in keeping possession. Completely hopeless again. We need loyalty and not duel registration crap. We need new management and a new board to take control of this failing team. We are clearly nowhere near ready for this level of football. Which is very disappointing considering where we were before the crash. I remember the 70's 80's and 90's when we dominated this level of football and was cruelly denied a football league place. I get it, this was a different time, but am I being unreasonable by wanting them times back. Let's face it, what have we been doing for the last 20 plus years. We need to rebuild, and if that means relegation, which is inevitable, then so be it. But next time, hopefully, there will be one, we can keep climbing. Let's see what this week brings 😮

Very pertinent first question. I think the real answer to that was: Yes, clearly so - they were fitter, more athletic and technically better. Despite that The Town fought hard and matched Torquay for most of the match. Enfield's results tell the same story. We have to chance two up front to score. One is just not doing it.

Clear penalty, Payne was cleaned out. They shouldn't employ blind and dumb refs, there's the Essex League for that.

I used to watch Enfield every week home and away back in the 60's when I was a boy (74 now), First match was 1956, at the old Southbury Road Stadium, The E;s were the best Amateur side then, My Grandparents and Dad were season ticket holders. Different times.

Ref was shocking; definitely not National South level more like Essex senior. The first penalty decision was one of the worst I've ever seen. The second was clearly not a penalty, clearly hitting the defender's chest.

Should have been 1-1. Three lousy penalties given by the ref who was embarrassingly shocking - definitely Essex League standard (surprised at the poor standard of refs in this league which in no way matches the standard of the football in general). ETFC did look as if they're improving gradually but have to tighten up in midfield and pose more of a threat up front.

I've been supporting Enfield in all guises since the 1960's and I'm sorry but it's now bordering pathetic. 9 points from 45, 6 points adrift of the relegation line. I've never seen such a poor team in 60 years. In my opinion I don't see the point of ground improvements as they won't be required in the Isthmian league. Need change in the backroom and on the pitch immediately or its"good bye National league south" never to return 😢

Nice to see Gavin sounding more positive, hopefully we can build on this now.

We're still in there fighting - a bit of luck would help. I mean moving an advert hoarding and scoring directly from that corner - how lucky was that? Town seem to hold back too much in defence, especially around the penalty area, if you ask me - down to uncertainty, lack of judgement and lack of confidence. The midfield have to be tougher and more athletic.
