That what we did
My old 1947 Lima sat 47 years had old GM 53 diesel and had tree saplings growing through it. Changed all fluids and battery and a little ether and started right up Changed all cables and had a working machine
All she need was new batteries and diesel and some ether and she came alive
@GilleyGarage those cable machines are pretty cool I'm a very poor operator, but my dad you'd think it was hydraulic. We restored that 27 ton machine played with it a few years then sold it. Went back to restoring tractors. Construction equipment to big for me but it was fun and your video brought back some memories

I drove a few of them back in the 80s. People were throwing them away along with a lot of cars. It was the time of cheap or free vehicles and gas was 1.49 gallon. 😂
