Bro they have height and that’s it. The weight difference is too much. Also basketball players aren’t crazy like football players are. You have to tackles Derrick Henry and run into that man for 60 minutes. Any would tap out after hitting him only a few times.

@@deeproblem831 no bro there are many players who are way more athletic and talented than guys like Ant or any other NBA player that train full-time and played football full-time in college that don’t even make an NFL roster. Training physically is not going to prepare him or any other NBA player because they’re not playing the game and taking actual practice reps. There’s nothing to simulate that even if they trained for a year or so it’s not even remotely the same thing. As a player they would need to have to learn how to tackle and not take big hits which you can only do through playing. You have to learn to be able to play through pain or play through high ankle sprains and pulled hamstrings or shoulder injuries, it’s not just the physical of the sport you need to prepare for it’s the mental aspect of the grind playing in the heat with pads and having to tackle men who are huge and absolute units day in and day out, that’s something you have to do often in order to be able to do it successfully. There are many 4 and 5 star players out of high school and former #1 ranked players who don’t even make an NFL roster. To think Ant can come in after a year or two of training is not only disrespectful but completely stupid and foolish to assume he could come into a highly intense NFL training camp and make a roster.

There's going to be growing pains this season. He might not be 100%, but no matter what, he's going to have to be our anchor. I think we got better defensively on the perimeter. Rudy is still very clunky on offense, and I'm definitely seeing what you are seeing as well, and it doesn't feel great. However, I'm seeing signs of pushing pace, shooting more 3s, and running more through a couple of drive and kick type sets. None of this uses Rudy. On offense, he's still an awesome screen setter, and our play makers will get better using him. Last year, he was one of our best players for the majority of the season. I am expecting that form to show, and hopefully soon! :)

@@ashwinkamath4598 I appreciate Rudy on the defensive end. The way he deters players at the rim is benefitting. But man, watching him on offense is so cringe. Great screen setter yes, but has no hands. Continuously fumbling passes, and not to mention clogging the paint for Ant and Julius. I'm really excited to see Naz and Julius play the 4/5 at spurts. Most likely gonna get wrecked defensively but its gonna be fun on O

@@JGuerra-23 Absolutely! The comment about Naz/Julius is ON POINT. I think we're trying, forcibly at times, to be a much faster team. Push pace, use Rudy less by default as we were so bad at transition opportunities last season. We have a lot of ball handlers now, which is such a cool thing to think about! Julius is no slouch on Defense! he's only slightly shorter than KAT, but doesn't back down or give up much when physical in comparasion to KAT. Naz is also improving as a defender, but is probably our weak link, ur right. High lobs so Rudy doesn't need to bring it down, and putting Rudy in spots so we don't have to rely on him at all is going to be how we succeed, I think!
