At what temperature should urine be stored

It never fails that when I get to the back of my property that I have to pee So, I keep a wide mouth 2-1/2 gallon kitty litter jugs back there. So when I have to pee I put it in the jugs. When I need fertilizer I put half a gallon of pee in a 5 gallon bucket With four gallons of rain water and I water my plants with it. The urine changes to ammonia after a week or so in the jug so I don't worry about pathogens. Nothing I know of can live in a strong ammonia solution. Plants love it.

I retort charcoal at ~500°c,urinate into char, add worm castings, add rainwater, aerate it with fish tank bubbler air pump and use the contents to feed my gardens… cheap and easy but way more active than and stable than NPK fertiliser which has to be modified depending on the plant’s outcome whether growing greens, fruits or tubers…

I would like to know how to process it and take the salt out

Great byproduct to use to generate heat in my compost pile during the Winter months;

You may say it's a good fertilizer, but the fact that humans are being medicated, feed toxins, & water contaminated alot of out urine will need 2go thru a remedial reclaimation process using mushrooms, biochar etc.

So do I just walk in and pee in one of your toilets and how much do I get for every pee.

ummm, bales of hay are 12 bucks round me and they all have plastic string and string chunks in them

2nd gal from cornell... you never mention pee variability or account for it......all pee is not equal......so how are any of your insights valid?

is biochar part of a nutrient loss mitigation strategy?

I’m tossing up the idea of straw bale gardening so do you think I should save our urine and use it to initially condition the bales.

I only use urine and compost tea in my hydroponics.

I’ve been using it on my veggies and houseplants for four years now, about 1 cup per gallon of water as a supplement with other fertilizer, works well.
