@@martindohnal55 , the public transport in Luleå is reliable. There are buses in the city. You can see the schedule on LLT website or app. To travel to the areas outside of Luleå, you can take a regional bus (NLT). Luleå is quite safe. Whether it’s a good place to live is very subjective. 😊 To me, Luleå is a nice place to live. The nature is beautiful. In summer we can enjoy the midnight sun, go by boat to the islands around Luleå, go to the beach. In winter we can walk on the frozen sea to an island called Gråsjälören, do ice skating on the natural ice and snow (in Södra hamn), ride snow mobile, dog sledding, and do ice fishing, etc. There are not many entertainments here compared to other bigger cities, but if you like the nature, short distance to go within the town (for example, it takes only around 15 minutes to go to university from the city center by bus), quieter life, Luleå is a nice place to live. 😊

Hi, it depends on what you want to do in Abisko. If you want to do hiking (and how long you want to walk), or you want to take the cable car to the top of the mountain and then walk down. It really depends on what activities you want to do.

Hi, the canyon is not that far. As far as I remember it may take around 20-30 minutes (or shorter), depending on the walking pace. 😃

According to Swedish water website (www.svensktvatten.se/om-oss/nyheter-lista/vattnet-i-fjallen-gar-att-lita-pa/), it is safe to drink the water, but if it is running water, you need to check if there are any dead small animals or any other contaminants upstream and be sure to wash and rinse out bottles and vessels. 😃

Hi Richard, yeah, it’s actually colder when the wind is very strong. I used to be a bit scared to walk on a cold snowy day, but after having to walk outside on a -27 degrees Celsius snowy day, I now dare to walk in the snow when it’s not so windy. I like snow, too. It’s beautiful. It feels like living in a winter wonderland. 😃❄️❄️❄️
