This is basically Lloyd Webber if he wrote for Justin Bieber. At least that’s how he justified the change in this production and the U.K. Tour. I have the same issues as everyone else but my main problem is that it’s so hard to distinguish the “lyrics” properly. And it’s not because of this recording. It was the same in the theatre. Was it Elliot, was it new material? The actor is extremely talented and was a joy to watch as a dancer but this number did not go down as well as the original version. At least not at the performances I attended.
