Superconductor Zinogre in 6:11 (MHRS Long Sword)
This event quest in the endgame grind for MP accelerants, and so if you want good charms you'll be killing this Zinogre often. I was killing him so often I actually started getting good at the fight, so figured I might as well try to speedrun it.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak: HR Rathalos vs Silkbind Shadowbox (Last quest to HR999)
Просмотров 32Год назад
Despite having played since Tri, Rise is the first game in the series where I've had the will to play all the way up to HR999, and while I'm not at the max Master Rank yet, I figured I'd so something funny for the final rank up in High Rank, like punch a monster to death with my exploding fisticuffs. This makes use of a the fact that Sillkbind Shockwave works on hits from the Shadow Box gesture...
Monster Sanctuary Mythbusters: All about Action Types

In this second episode of Monster Sanctuary Mythbusters, we'll be going over some of the details of how Action types work and how the interact with different passives. If you have any questions or ideas for future topics, let me know in the comments.
Monster Sanctuary Mythbusters: Which support weapons work with Wonder Potion?
Просмотров 252Год назад
Wonder Potion is a powerful and unique skill that allows you to buff, heal, and support with Potions. Potions don't work with skills that affect healing actions, but what about Items? Let's find out. (To clarify, all of these have their same effect whether Wonder Potion is active or not, it's just that Wonder Potion is the reason you would use Potions instead of a healer, so it's the reason the...
Monster Sanctuary build showcase (commentated)
Просмотров 8 тыс.2 года назад
A few people have asked to see the builds from some of the previous videos, and I thought I'd compile some of them here. Since the original run was performed on a previous patch and I didn't save all the build information, I don't have everything, but I figured I'd show the two builds people asked most about, as well as the builds from the Adopt a Monster team.
(Monster Sanctuary Nuzlocke Contest) Kazuki Takahashi's greatest duel
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.2 года назад
This is my entry to the Monster Sanctuary Nuzlocke contest, and shows the entire final boss fight done on Master difficulty. I wanted to honour the late Kazuki Takahashi, so I made this a Yugioh-themed run. It's time to duel, Marik

In addition to the new monsters introduced in The Forgotten World, the DLC includes new skills for every one of the existing Monsters. Here's a demonstration of some of the coolest new skills given to the existing roster. Curious as to all the cool changes coming in the DLC? Adopt A Monster team vs all new Legendary Keepers, Master difficulty

Monster Sanctuary is helping raise money for animal welfare, and featured Krakaturtle, Aurumtail, and Catzerker, so here's a video of those three monsters beating each of the new Legendary Keepers on Master difficulty.
Renrink's Pokemon tournament (commentated)

A while back, my friend Renrink ran a Pokemon tournament in her Discord, which ended up with some really close games and a lot of fun had by all, so I decided to make a video about it and commentate the matches. This tournament was played on Pokemon Showdown, and the format was OU
(Monster Sanctuary) All Legendary Keepers, 2 rounds, Master Difficulty
Просмотров 13 тыс.3 года назад
Here's all of the Legendary Keepers in Monster Sanctuary, beaten in the fewest possible number of turns on the hardest difficulty. I got inspired to do this upon hearing the amazing new theme for the legendary keepers in the 1.3 patch. While I probably could have had an easier time if I just used Fungi Shockhopper Troll for every fight, I wanted to show off a variety of strategies and different...
What was the contest?
It was held on the Discord, a challenge to go through the game in Randomizer, Bravery, permadeath on a specific seed.
Wow well done
Great video, hope to hear more from you
mancoooooooooo👅
Nice choice of music~ And well done! You should be really proud of yourself~~
I always wanted to know how exactly the damage gets calculated. For example doed every might stack multiply or do they add and then multiply the attack. Same thing for charge stacks. Also how does the damage reduction exactly work with manapotential and all the multipliers.
This I think would be tough to demonstrate in a video, but I can give you an answer: -Might buffs are multiplicative. If you have 3, you get 1.2 x 1.1 x 1.1 damage to your attack (remembering that additional stacks of buffs are halved). -Charge stacks are additive within themselves but multiply with other things, so if you have 10 that's a 30% bonus to damage. Damage reduction works the same, but multiplying fractions results in diminishing returns instead. If you have 50% damage reduction from Defense and then Mana Potential reduces it by 30%, you'd take the remaining 50% of damage you take and multiply that by 0.7, making for a total of 35% damage taken total, or 65% damage reduction.
@@SmugLookingBarrel Thank you very helpful. I still have another question. I read in the wiki that the level of the mon is also important for the damage calculation. Is this true? Because I thought only the attackstat(or magic) matters and not the level itself.
Some other potential topics to cover in case the well runs dry at some point: - The nuances of buff/debuff efficacy and how it (doesn't) affect enhancers directly (i.e cauldron and broken immunity interaction) - Critical Healing interactions (Infernal Roar, Critical Heat, etc.) and proc property inheritance not just for attacks but healing and shielding as well. (i.e. Sidekick Support, Combo Healing, etc. which also interact with Critical Healing as well). Overcast will boost Volatile Shield, for example. - Volatile Shield and Shield Burst nuances, like what kind of equipment the can be scaled with and the accuracy/crit differences therein (maybe tying into blind/dodge interaction too). - Stacking mechanics for buffs, debuffs, age stacks, charges, heroism, etc. - Blood Vessel interactions (Transfusion combos, Splatter interaction, etc.) - Probably doesn't warrant a whole episode but Counter Attack mechanics could be good to go over. Notably, it is a passive and not an action, so it doesn't necessarily work with everything that regular attacks do. - Another niche, Hard Shell (darnation unique passive) and Weapon Break reduce crit chance additively, not multiplicatively. One of the few exceptions to multiplicative scaling in this game. - Buffs and debuffs have "source self" meaning things like Regeneration apply a heal from the monster that has the buff, not the monster that applied the buff, leading to some niche uses (aazerach has good examples with transfusion, warlock healing, and assistance). - Imitate and Counterfeit interactions - Variety standing out as notable for tracking the move being imitated/counterfeited, rather than Imitate/Counterfeit themselves. - Switchout mechanics including buff/debuff/stack retention and how things like Master of Time can be triggered on switch-in, but only one trigger per battle.
Nice series! And cute names on the blobs :D
who would have known that rampede was the villain here
Great analysis! It's nice to have this all collected somewhere.
I always thought Poison eater was only an attack action, learned something new there. I think something went wrong in your description.
Huh it did, it should be fixed now.
Monster... Sanctuary? Somehow never heard of it. Curious.
This game is a hidden jewel
This was soooo informative! Thanks for testing and posting
Will this be a series? Because I would love MS Mythbusters, there are so many weird interactions in this game.
I'd need to think of some more myths, but if you have any ideas for interactions you want tested, I'll consider making more of these.
@@SmugLookingBarrel Some idea's: *What items/skills can give combo. *When does it matter if an aura is not of the active mon, for chaining things. *Are there still non-unique aura's that stack in some weird ways. (I know that there used to be some bugged ones at the very least). *How do the buffs/debuffs are more/less effective stack with additional effects on those (for instance Gorgeous Plumage and Glorious spark), same for additional (half effective) stacks. *Does Pandora's box allow for 2 full value versions of the same buff, or is the second one half as effective? *Is there Damage randomness? And how much? *What stacks additive and what does so multiplicative. (typically only stacks, and multiply effects from a single passive node (like cascade) are additive, but how about multi might and the like). *When both additive and multiplicative effects are involved, in which order do they trigger? *Apparently burning desire also applies on application of burn, while in the opposing turn. Does this always do this, and do similar skills do the same? *What skills stop working if they would apply a (de-)buff, but the targetted mon already has the max amount. * and which (just?) stop giving combo. *Is it better not to cleanse debuffs against a strong debuff team? They mostly can refill to full every turn and might get some benefit from skills because of it.
@@SmugLookingBarrel If you do end up doing some of these, would you consider to do a little conclusion/summary at the end of the video? Like a table for larger tests, or a "So in conclusion it works on all of this type, but not of this type." or something?
Really nice guide
Good stuff

how can you got multiple spectral monster?
You can get multiple different spectrals in Eternity's End after becoming Keeper Master, and if you do New Game Plus, you can get them all again.
The turtle is so broken!!!
Awesome team! I have bad luck with finding weapons and equipment. I have literally got 5 hammers and 4 katanas, 6 poison darts! So annoying. Can never get the scythe which makes me sad as most of my builds are magic based.
I wanna see them in action!
They're from these videos ruclips.net/video/EhDeq7BL9a4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/OPtKueN1GRA/видео.html
Thank you!
I’m so glad I recently got recommended this game. In the span of a month I’m at 45 hours and just got all monsters 😂 thank you so much for the tips!
Time to update the debuff team
Akluth d shifted is op
Great video, awesome intel. It helps a lot.
And this is why I can never beat you. Hahaha amazing video!
I realize I didn't show the food. Beetloid used Bananas in both builds, Glowdra used Cookie Mushrooms in the oneshot build and Bananas in the normal build, Spinner used Raspberries in both builds. Fungi and G'rulu used Cookie Mushrooms in the oneshot build and Bananas in the regular build, Troll used Cookie Mushrooms, Rampede used Raspberries. Krakaturtle and Aurumtail used Bananas, Catzerker used Raspberries.
Fantastic video love the content
I have to listen to Yugioh's opening song for an hour straight now, thanks
they get moew difficult with master difficulty?
What's your spinner / glowdra / beetloid build?
Even though I already knew about these skills it's nice to see them in action, good vid
hello)wait what is the skills on that Spinner team ? and equipments ?
Can u help me five star qilin cause all the videos are old and none of them work because the champion levels up if you level up so if you could help it would be amazing Ps. I at level 30
Qilin is weak to all debuff damage, so one effective strategy is to afflict it with a whole bunch of debuffs with monsters like Fungi or Vasuki, then attack with a monster that has Death Blow like Troll.
If you don't want to bother you can make a beast (mode) team or mage team later on and comeback for the one shot
You got any build pictures?
In order to be able to use Krakaturtle, I was playing in the closed beta, once the DLC officially launches, I may show my builds.
@@SmugLookingBarrel Can u show the build?

You're just melting them man! Well done
wait what is the skills on that fungi team ? and equipments ?
Fungi runs Bow, Poison Dart, Lightning Sphere, and Thermal Reactor, with triple Cookie Mushroom Shockhopper runs Bow, Cauldron, Lightning Sphere, and Thermal Reactor, with triple Cookie Mushroom Troll runs Heavy Mace, Poison Dart, Ancestral Medal, Needle, with triple Cookie Mushroom Each of them only has one or two active skills at max level (which vary slightly but usually are the skill with the most hits for fungi and shockhooper and AOE skills for Troll), and then every passive that increases damage and debuff effectiveness.
@@SmugLookingBarrel thanks man, ill try it out in a bit!
