Of course, hunters like you, who don't need to cold bloodedly killing animals in order to survive and in addition, get money by reinforcing the alcoholism of others and damaging his health, by selling alcohol, plus putting on medals for obviously having to carry like a donkey the corpse you left, of course, you are a more thant just a killer, you are a brainless, heartless, incredibly dumb killer.

It pains me to see humans so conditioned as to really believe that killing another animal in cold blood, when it is not necessary for survival, is a way of life, an art. To hear someone say that they are looking for the perfect kill, that killing is doing the right thing, isn't that psychopathy? And maybe the worst are all the reinforcement biases you can read in the comments, fawning over the video.

my only problem with this is the gun you use, which is created in a factory by machines. Should realistically use a handcrafted weapon created from materials you can find in your wild environment. Otherwise the whole message you are preaching loses its strength, its still a message but its much weaker. By using tools made by machines in factories, you're inevitably feeding the same system which is against hunting/wilderness.

I hate hunting, however hypocritical it is of me as someone who eats meat from a supermarket, and I will never change my belief. But if someone is going to hunt, I only hope they do it like you do. I may not agree with it but you hunt for food and to connect with nature and your instincts (the latter being something I wish to do too): this is so much better then those people who hunt purely as a game or for a trophy and who lack any respect for nature. Simply put, I may not like what you do but I do respect it

I think I understand very well what the draw to hunting is. I spend a lot of time in the mountains and meet many hunters on the way. But still, I think that everything you get out of hunting, you can get even better from other 'lifestyles'. Contact with and getting an understanding of nature and yourself, the physical and mental challenges, the almost religious bond you develop, I think I get these from alpine climbing and wildlife photography. The difference with hunting is that I feel like hunting is consumerist, and destructive in its nature, while climbing and photography builds further on the history and on the places I say I love. I also say this because in the area I live, the hunters are known for hunting wolves because they are a threat to their game. And there are many incidents each year from hunters getting mad at hikers, suspected shootings on hikers even. I am very willing to change my mind, but until now I don't know why you would pick something so destructive while there are so much better alternatives.

Shot my first quail at four years of age in South Africa while my father held the shotgun and I. At 56 years of age now in Scotland the adrenaline and hunting urge is just as strong as it was back then. It’s quite satisfying putting venison on the table for the family.
