    It grew on me, and after seeing it for the fourth time it became one of my favorite Hitchcock films. My affinity has a lot to do with the nostalgia of 1976 San Francisco. Although there wasn't a lot of on location filming, I recognize the little there is.

    Alfred Hitchcock is a great director but the academy never gave him an Oscar 😢😢

    I love the way the openly promote and sell their movie. Makes it seem more like a play.

    this was HITCHCOCK'S american remake of his own original BRITISH version this was certainly brilliant he knew full well how to generate suspense bringing havoc on to ordinary people's lives i remember i great outdoor screening of this film that won over a lot of younger fans!!

    This was allegedly "restored" by Universal, but not nearly as lovingly as "Vertigo" and "Raer Window" were. It's a goddamned shame that Universal, always a second-rate studio, should own the rights to the classic Paramount library!
