      @@shraddhaagrawal2503 1. Yes we can trigger some rest message using flow, we can create a script type action and write code in it, I will make a video on it 2. If we use table api then we don't have control to not trigger business rule on target instance, in that case either we can set a field called source=rest_integration in request body when we are triggering api, source should be field on both instances, when source is rest_integration then we don't trigger business rules OR else we can use scripted rest api and make use of setWorkflow(false) from gliderecord

    Nice I have similar scenario like, our client want to reuse the same request when approval is rejected then the REQ should set to pendig approval and RITM should set to open then again flow designer should restart i have tried the code which you give to cancel the approval and restart apporval, modified the script but it is reidrecting to ui action and approvals went to cancel state

      I think you need to add extra script to move request to pending approval and ritm to open. But you can use same code with little modification as per your requirement to trigger or cancel flow context

    Hi, First, I want to thank you for an excellent explanation of the IRE. I'm new to it, and thanks to you, it seems very easy to implement. However, I have some questions, please: I did the same configuration as you did for the computers table. I performed the reconciliation, identification, and the import set. In the reconciliation, I only set the attributes: RAM, name, and CPU speed. In my Excel file, I also added the OS field. I was expecting that the OS wouldn't be updated because I didn't add it to the reconciliation attributes, but it did update. Any idea why? Thanks.

      Yes it will update normally not through reconciliation. So to make reconciliation effective on field you need to add it to the fields list

    Question regarding the reconciliation from your example: Let's say ServiceNow is updating the computer record (RAM field). Once it is updated, ServiceNow will always be the source of truth. So, aren't we getting stuck at this point? Future updates from BigFix inventory or import sets will always fail. What is the meaning of all this configuration in that case? It seems like a dead end. Thanks in advance.

      @@galshimoni391 It's not dead end. If you believe ServiceNow discovery is not a trusted source and Big Fix is the trusted source now, then just change the priority of Big Fix to less than ServiceNow. That will make Big Fix trusted source and the data from Big Fix in next run will update the CI. Hope this answers your question. Thanks 😊

      @@servicenow_universe we are using a flow designer and trigger it whenever a record is created on sn_hamp_rma table and through the flow, first task is created and after closing the first task approvals gets trigeered.     I have a question. In the process of requesting a license, when is it correct to create an Allocation Record? 1. To manually create an Allocation Record after installing the license for the user? Or 2. To create it later through Reconciliation?

      @@손진희-v7p it can be created manually or through importing Excel or through script after the installation but if we miss to do that then reconciliation finds it and we create allocations as remediation option. In both cases we don't have any issue. However compliance status can be found after reconciliation only. so if we create allocations before reconciliation we don't need to run reconciliation again. If we create allocations after reconciliation then we need to run reconciliation again to check if we are complaint or not.

    I need to show an alert message if the manager of the caller (from the caller field) is the same as the manager of the assigned-to user (from the assigned_to field) on a form. Both caller and assigned_to are reference fields to user records. if anyone could help me would be appropriate .

      @@TON-ff4vu write 2 on change client scripts. One for caller and other for assigned to field. In both client script do glideajax call and get the get the manager names of both in script include and return true or false. Based on true or false show the alert
