I was on the chair in front of him when I heard him calling for help! I could hardly believe what I was seeing! His backpack got stuck under the arm of the seat! I tried to keep him calm. I was afraid that he would dislodge himself and fall to the ground and get really injured! Luckily everything turned out okay. A lot of things could have gone wrong, but they didn't. I felt helpless just watch...

My cousin fell of a ski lift when we went on a family ski trip We were getting ready to get off the ski lift so we had our safety bar up and the ski lift stoped and she slipped right off the ski lift, luckily it was only a few feet and she was not hurt
i get it's tense but the kid definitely made it harder by freaking out the couple times he did
That was safe the chef himself they rescue the KID Awesome WORK!!!!!!

That happened to me when I was10 yrs old. I just waited for the ski patrol. I didn't yell and cry and I am a girl. This kid is a sissy.

Poor kid he did really well and great job staff it’s reassuring if ever am stuck on a lift 🙏🏾
The first rescue guy should have unlocked the ski to reduce weight. He went stright up but was unable to lift the kid up. He was eager but not smart.
Issac kept his composure for so long. He didn't let himself panic until he was sure the help had arrived. That was really well done on his part for a kid his age. At 22 I was in a very scary situation on a cliff, but much less scary than this, and I had my first ever panic attack and it took a lot to pull myself together.
How do this happen

His arms were stuck...he was unable to "just drop"... you gotta watch the video to be able to tell.

@@frost3424 the boy kept saying his arms hurt. Seeing a child crying out in pain is heartbreaking, especially when you can't get to him to fix it. It didn't look to me like he was worried about falling; he said he was hurting and was throwing himself around to release himself. It looks like if he could have dropped, he most definitely would have.

Super scary - poor kid appears to me at risk serious of asfixia, in the same way as if one was crucified. With the weight of the lower body pulling down, the torso stretched out and shoulder unable to support, the diaphragm is impeded from exhalation.
Why wouldn't they have ladders that extend high enough to reach the chairs?

What should I say, safety bar was open, as usually the Americans don't make use of it. And that is the simple consequence! In Austria and Switzerland you get screamed when you don't close the safety bar. The name says for what it's useful, so just make use of it! 🙄 What's also different to Austria is that people instead of helping do filming and post it immediately afterward on social media. No matter if the victim is accepting this or not. 🤦
