Hello I'm from Korea. When we buy frozen US beef in box, it seems like they didnt age it and just freeze unlike what you said. Then, is it same that i defrost it (vacuum packed) in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 weeks? And i heard when you age the frozen beef, the aging process fater than the original raw beef. Is that real?

This is an excellent video. I want to point out, though, that bone-in brisket used to be popular, back when brisket was commonly braised as a pot-roast. So yes, people have heard of and remember bone-in brisket (1:25). Boxed beef and barbecue brought an end to all that.

Nuestra ancestral y venezolanisima arépa, de los indígenas Cumanagotos orientales con sus Aripos o Budares ( Bu-dare = pa ) de cocinar las arépas, o erepas como las llamaban y de los Caquetios occidentales de Falcón y Lara. Fue registrada y descrita junto a las hallacas por el comerciante Italiano Florentino Galeotto Cey en su manuscrito Viajes y descripción de las Indias en el año de 1.539 - 1.553 durante su estadia en el Tocuyo occidental, la ciudad madre de Venezuela y también mencionada por el tirano Aguirre antes de sucumbir en Barquisimeto en el año de 1.561, al decir que no debemos dejarnos vencer por hombres de arépa y cazabe y comentada con anterioridad por el contador del Rey en Venezuela Pedro Ruiz de Tapia en el año de 1.548 quien señalaba que la arepa de maíz es la comida de los indios para el almuerzo y la cena y entre otros también por Fray Pedro Simón cuando escribía sobre las ciudades de Venezuela en el año de 1.600 llamando a las arepas discos solares y por último reseñada por el padre Fray Antonio Caulin luego del año de 1.742 - 1. 760 en el oriente Venezolano en tierras de los Cumanagotos desde Sucre hasta el Orinoco provincia de nueva Andalucía. Hoy este alimento precolombino originalmente Venezolano de talla mundial se consume hasta en algunos pueblos de la hermana República de Colombia como un plato alterno o secundario a la tradicional yuka y a la papá andina típica de sus regiones gracias a los movimientos migratorios históricos, sobre todo el de las últimas tres décadas del siglo veinte y a que algunas de sus poblaciónes fronterizas fueron parte originaria de la capitania general de Venezuela. Cabe destacar también que la palabra Arépa o erepa llegó a tierras de Bolivia desde el Caribe venezolano a través del propio Simón Bolivar, su fundador, junto a Simón Rodríguez y las tropas Venezolanas del ejercito libertador durante los años de 1.822 - 1.825. Hoy en algunos pueblos bolivianos de Santa Cruz se consume esporadicamente este alimento de manera secundaria a su dieta tradicional andina a base de papas y yuka. Las arépas de Santa Cruz son una mezcla de harina con queso y leche como una especie de buñuelo colombiano pero en forma de torta sin el redondeado exacto de la arépa venezolana. También existe la arépa Vasca o arepa española, el talo como les llaman, o la tosta del lado francés, esta idea de los indígenas Cumanagotos venezolanos fue llevada a Europa a través del intercambio cultural entre los miembros de la casa Guipúzcoana vasca y la colonia Venezolana, empresa marítima que manejaba el comercio entre la capitanía general de Venezuela y España. ORIGEN VENE,ZOLANO DE LAS AREPAS DEL ECUADOR: Según versión dada por el Padre Felipe Cepeda, Frayle Franciscano pa- tateño, a la llegada de Simón Bolívar y su paso por este territorio en su gesta libertaria, decidió con sus tropas hacer un descanso y proveerse de alimentos, al observar la dedicación y laboriosidad de las damas patateñas, pidió que se pueda traer el maíz para elaborar las tradicionales arepas venezolanas, pero no se imaginó que la gente de Patate le iba a poner su originalidad, adicionando un ingrediente especial del lugar que era el zapallo, acompañado de queso y panela dando como resultado la fórmula de la famosa arepa de Patate. De la carta del tercer viaje de Colon en Paria, Venezuela en 1.498, donde relata sobre los barcos indigenas mas grandes de los que vio antes de buena hechura o tecnología y sobre los alimentos como el pan de maíz o arépas y los vinos de frutas.
