Fun video. First DTW one I saw. I was amazed at how many small planes DL flies out of there. I was expecting to see large amounts of long range wide bodies, but they plug a lot of hole in DTW with RJ’s and 717’s. Interesting.

I've lived in SE Michigan for 20 years and DTW is a very nice airport. Not too hectic and a user-friendly arrangement of gates.

what sucks is we don’t have an observation deck anymore, you have to go to the Mac garage and pay like 40 bucks to watch planes.

I thought they kicked GA outta Metro years ago.
