But why? You can easily create your own workout schedule that will be way more effective. It will fit you individually better. It’ll be more fun for yourself, so you’ll stay more consistent. And you’ll reach your goals more efficiently.
Good point! The thing that I'm emphasizing here is the principle of the routine (clarity) and not the substance of the excercise itself Hitting 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 squats & 10 km won't be the best fit for everyone, but people can still use the same concept (making it specific & measurable) when they're creating their own routine to give them better clarity, hence enhancing the effectiveness of the excercise by not having to spend that much time & energy to think about what type of excercise that they're gonna do + not having to worry about the bare minimum of how much exercising is enough exercise :)
@ Good points and I fully agree with you on most but I gotta say that I don’t quite get the “enough exercise” part. I mean doing this one punch workout once a week will also not necessarily be enough. If one wants to know what enough exercise is they should just google and see that it’s 200 min of cardio aso. per week. This workout (the one punch one) is not like the required standard. Do it 5 times a week and u do more than you’d have to, do it once and it’s not enough. The “not enough” problem is therefore bigger with your suggested workout. Just google the scientifically proven standard (which is obviously more accurate than some internet challenge from some show) and build your own schedule based on that. There is just not one single thing that is good abt this one punch workout.
@@Oscar-us4ge dude i always need critical feedback like this, i think I'm not providing enough clarity on the "enough excercise" Part, here's the thing --> most people only say that they're gonna exercise without any clear goals, they only do "as much as they like" or "as long as their motivation persist" --> the problem with this is, you can have an actually solid workout day, BUT you still feel like you're not doing enough because yesterday you did an even more solid workout day --> we tend to feel like we ain't accomplishing enough (even when we actually did), this can lead us to begin question our consistency --> some days we are more energized than the other days, some days we don't have that much time because we need to do other things, don't compare the quality of our exercise based on the other days --> instead, create a bare minimum of what is considered "enough", let's say, random example, i have a daily target of 10 pushups, on the days when I'm energized and got lot's of free time, i will do the bare minimum (10 pushups) plus 100 pushups (and that's enough). But also on the days when I'm pretty exhausted and have a full schedule, i will do the bare minimum (10 pushups) and call it a day (and that's also enough) --> a clear bar of "how much is considered enough" Is the thing I'm aiming here in order to protect the sense of consistency & also make myself appreciate my grind more (so it's like "it's not 100 pushups on most days, but at least I'm still doing the target that I'm aiming everyday") Beside that, i think I'll agree with your point regarding the medical side of it, there are tons of others scientific routines that are way more science based & proven to be effective... Maybe I'll fix the wording or give better disclaimer next time :)
