We Alphaz are so lucky to enjoy XG in its original form which is magical. Orchestral form hardly gives any hint its related to Christmas so we Alphaz understand all its intent. It’s quite relaxing actually but would prefer it to be longer because most orchestral music are quite long. Wishing all Alphaz a Happy Christmas and our pack grow bigger.

The Saxophone sounds a lot like Dav Koz, the smooth Jazz, grammy nominated American musician, in tone and style. He just performed live with Keiko Matsui in SoCal at Spaghettini's. Keiko is a beloved Japanese Jazz Pianist, playing smooth jazz, but with classical training. Both are aged in their 50's/60's and popular globally in the Smooth Jazz genre.

I’m a huge OG Alphaz but have to say this doesn’t add any value to the discography. I hope that what Simon understands is that it’s the members that make XG so special. We do not need an AI jazzy orchestra covering this song. The First Take version was already perfection. For Christmas, I’m sure we would all love an MV for In The Rain and then see them do it on The First Take. They already killed it at Tokyo Tower Records so a more polished real MV would be great. Thank you Simon and XG members for gifting us all year. We saw you in Bangkok on 4 August at EmSphere and it was magical. Happy Holidays

Do we know who ran the solo, or arranged it? Is it my man Jason Lee? I know he's worked with Chancellor before, so it'd be amazing to learn he's the magic behind this version.
