Sounds like a conspiracy against blacksmiths. Likely, anything written by blacksmiths was destroyed before it was read by others - even if a blacksmith tried to further their craft, which is highly unlikely given the hatred toward the class in this story. Good argument that the particular use of the class we watch could very well be unique as well, so no books could be written about how to use the class like this. Kind of like a holy knight, a class known for using a sword and shield, having a member of that class who uses a mace or bow and looking for books to continue their proficiency. That’s just my ideas. Could obviously be wrong. Sorry the comment is so long.

The church kept an eye on the blacksmiths because they were a threat. Whole bunch of stuff too, this timestamp is when the MC gets a book written by a past blacksmith about creating dungeons. So there’s that.
