Would it be crazy to put a normal scale length neck on it?
One my friend put normal scale length neck on mini jazzmaster by squier and it made the intstrument only better, so I guess it could work with vox aswell
12 string ELECTRIC is one of THE most underrated string instruments of all time. Pretty young invention in the Grand scheme of building instruments. In my opinion it is still the latest and most futuristic tone and is still being pioneered. It is similar to how old piano was when Beethoven was born and how he had shown the possibilities with it's musical application. Someone out there is going to show how flexible it is as an electric instrument.
Damn I was gassing about jaguars and jazzmasters and then got sidetracked by 65 princetons… have you tried a jaguar through it? do you have a preference between either guitar through this amp?

Hello, is it worth it? I heard that the mini teardrops go out of tune quite a bit, is the same thing happening with this one?
Actually the problem is the nut. It's badly made and too high for this guitar, so when you play on the first frets it sounds completely out of tune. So if you replace the nut with a lower one tuning problems disappear.

I've got guitar rig, I have a boss gt-1, but neither will yield this tone. Frustrated apt dweller here.

Hey thanks for your kind words. This guitar is one of a kind, so we're lucky we own it. No, I didn't shim it but if I played jazz I would. I'm sure that shimming works better for jazz playing, giving the sense of a hollow body guitar bridge which is normally higher. I'm using Ernie Ball 10s.
